I just read a news report that Dr. Jan Adams did the plastic surgery on Kanye West's mother ( who passed away ). The report said she had gone initially to another plastic surgeon who refused to do the surgery until she got clearance ( from another doctor ) due to a "pre-existing condition". He said that was two weeks ago and he never heard from her again.
Depending on what the condition was, the clearance would have been needed from a specialist ( cardiologist, pulmonary or whatever). This is not uncommon.
I wonder if Dr. Adams had the same reservations the other doctor had.
This will be an interesting case to follow in the press as there's sure to be a lawsuit.
