How does one qualify to be a candidate for plastic surgery? It is amazing how surgery can erase psychological scars one has had for years. I would be willing to undergo several procedures and would be eternally grateful for any noticeable changes that would be a result of plastic surgery.

Thank you.

I don't have any emotional scars to heal and I don't have any wild ideas that having surgery will change my life, who I am, or anything like that. All it will change is how I look and how I feel about the way I look. After 4 kids, the ole body just ain't what it used to be... Dieting can only do so much. I nursed all 4; now my breasts are deflated. I could fit a toddler inside the excess skin on my stomach. (Perhaps I should volunteer as a surrogate kangaroo? I have a great pouch! LOL) Gravity has done what the pregnancies forgot, and parts droop that used to be firm and tight. Elasticity in the skin? A thing of the past. I joke that I gave up my body for my kids. I wouldn't trade any of them for anything, including the perfect body, but I certainly wouldn't mind some kind assistance with putting the body back into a nicer looking condition! Money to pay for it? I could probably scrape it up, but the kids are expensive, and I'd rather spend it on their future than on selfish perks for myself. If I had the money floating around I'd have the surgeries tomorrow. I'd still be me, only better! Alas, the kiddies come first, and the Mommy is low on the totem pole when it comes to vanity. So, anyone out there want to use and abuse me in the name of ratings? I'm easy to get along with, not afraid of the knife, and you can follow me around with a camera forever. Any takers?

Hi - get any takers for your offer to be on tv and show your plastic surgery? Anyone out there who was on tv for their plastic surgery story? How did you go about it? Happy you did it?

I see quite a few asking the question but no answer. Does anyone have the answer? I would like to know myself.

I'd like to know how to apply as well. The many and various self esteem issues that I have aside, being a full time, poor college student doesn't make me a great candidate for a loan in order to get plastic surgery in the first place. In addition to that, I go to a private school, so my bills are higher than usual Frown Anyway, if anyone sees this and knows how to apply, please let me know at scarlettibis24@yahoo.com

P.S.
I don't mean surgery as in I want big boobs or an apple bottom- I'm referring to things of actual importance...

I would like to find out how to be on the show. I've lost over 95lbs and have hanging skin. I need to lose 30 or so more pounds and by then everything will be sagging and hanging. I also had a breast reduction that went bad and need scar revisions. Open for any ideas.

I have emailed Discovery Health to find out how to become a candidate for the show. It looks pretty hopeless, but here is their response:

The majority of our programming is produced externally by independent
production companies. They are responsible for selecting the
participants on our programs. At this time, the production company for
Plastic Surgery: Before and After is not taking applications. Some of
these production companies do not have the resources to respond to the
many inquiries they receive about their programs.

Please visit discovery.com and check out the fansites as our website is
updated continually and the production company might take applications
at a later date. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

*sigh* I want to be on the show as well. I am happy with my body for the most part, its just my nose and skin that I want to fix, but with education costs now I don't think I'll ever be able to afford it.
