I just saw this episode last night (7th Nov 07) on Irish Discovery. At the end of the show, when Adam and Jamie finally got a steam cannon to fire a ball a long distance, Jamie stated that the ball didn't really travel a mile in the air, as they suspected it rolled quite a bit. HOWEVER, when Jamie picked up the cannon ball in the last scene, my husband Aengus, and I, noticed that there was a large indentation in the ground! So - surely this means that the cannon ball DID land there from its trajectory? If it had rolled, there wouldn't have been an indentation in the ground?
