hello, the story is the same i was fat my whole life then, at work one day a co-worker which i hadn't seen in a while lost all this weight, i asked her how she did it she, she mentioned something called "gastric bypass" I was like what in the world is that. well, she explained it to me, and I was hooked. I went to see her doctor but had to wait a year to have the surgery because i had the wrong type of insurance, well after one year i switched insurances, and was approved. against my mother's wishes she was excited and scared for me i told her my mind was made up and i was having the surgery. i'm sure if you were or are a fat person , you've probably heard the line before "You have such a pretty face". Yeah, and what does that mean ! Well, i had the surgery, lost 160 lbs and now after all that we switched insurance companies, and i was denied twice for a tummy tuck. can someone give me some suggestions ? it costs to much for me to pay myself have thought about extreme makeover i am desperate. i didn't lose all that weight and still can't realize my dream.

Hi, I also had Gastric Bypass surgery and I hear you concerning all the loose skin. There are probably alot of us out there now that it is such a popular surgery. Glad you had great success also!!
