I've just started a new school and I'm trying really hard to look nice. I have an outfit that I think is really cute, but I don't want to get to school and look stupid. Can anyone please help?
I love the jacket. It is so cute, espeically with your body type. However, i think you have it matched up all wrong. Those tight pants have got to go. The color of them are also distracting. Here's my suggesting. Find a cami with a U-shaped or V-shaped neck to wear under the jacket. Nothing too tight. See if you can focus on picking out a cami with a bit of visual interest, like some jeweling or lace. (I would pick silver, deep blue, or maybe a deep purple.) Next, unbotton that jacket!! You look like a school girl with it buttoned up like that. I am not sure how old you are, but if I had to guess by the way you wear that jacket, I would think 12 years-old. Then, pair your tops with a skit that flows away from your thighs. Like an A-line skirt will look nice. Stacy and clinton always say -- don't make your body look like an upside down triangle, which is what you're creating with your tight pants, and puffy sleeves. Compliment it with straight pants, (dark pants with pin stripes would look nice) or a skirt that has some moderate pattern to it. Pick shoes that will pop! Like scarlet, or gold, or patterned shoes, if your wardrobe is all solid colors. Then, pick a purse that pops off your wardrobe as well. What if you picked shoes that had a combo of red, mustard, and blues?? Then you can go with the mustard colored purse...and get rid of those pants!
