Born and raised in Southern California...and it's been 16 years since the last time I've seen snow. This December I will be visiting Manitoba, Canada for Christmas. So, I have a strange question I'm sure but I really don't know the answer so I am reaching out!
I MUST remain in style at all times and I am freaking out because I can't figure out what kind of shoes to wear in the snow. I prefer heels so I thought boots...but, are there such things as waterproof high-heel boots? I really want to wear heels or wedges but I don't know if that's doable in the snow. Anyone out there, especially those fashionista's that live in colder areas, have any ideas or suggestions as to what's out there to stay fashionable in the snow?!
If you really want to wear high heels, why not try a wedge boot? Paired with dark-washed skinny jeans... a calf-high wedge heeled boot would look super cute, and be pretty smart for snow.
I live in montreal so that's pretty much the colder you get in canada XD except maybe nunavut hahaha.. anyway. I wear boots (suede ones but they're treated so they don't get all mucky and gross) and they're trimmed with black fur so you can still look cute and yet you won't lose your feet after half an hour outside. They have a low heel (I am 6' tall after all) but I know some have very high heels; wether they be wedges or anything. it's up to you really...I still wear my converses out from time to time. the only time you have to worry is when it rains and everything gets slippery as hell....
