I was just wondering if there was even a slight chance that they would pick a woman to cook or try her hand at the hardworking greenhorn for a trip? I would ABSOLUTLY love the chance!! I'm a huge fan and a great cook!!! I'm 50% girlie girl and 50% tough chick. I think it would make a great show Pick me...Pick me!!!!
Add me to that list! I'm more of a girly girl(although I get along better with men than I do women for some reason) so I definitely wouldn't want to be a greenhorn but being half Italian - I'm one hell of a good cook!
most are superstitious about having a girl on the boat and they take it seriously.. you saw how kieth was about to turn the boat around and that was only over a cup of noodles.

That's a tough one. Phil is the softy and I'd just want to mother him and his boys. The Hillstrands would make me laugh and I'd never get anything done. Sig is efficient and businesslike. That's where I'd probably want to go. Keith is too high-strung, and with my temper, we wouldn't mix very well.

Well, my crewing days are over, but if I was going to choose a captain to work for, my first choice would be Captain Colburn. I like his rock-solid, straight-forward, to-the-point approach. I worked for a German captain who was hard to work for, but a great captain. Colburn reminds me a lot of that German captain. I think we would work well together.
