Yay, another forensics girl! I wish I could trade places with her. She looks fabulous in the reveal picture; can't wait to see the whole show. I wasn't feeling well, so I came home early this morning, and WNTW isn't even on at 11:00 here in MD. Say Yes To the Dress has infiltrated TLC completely! Make it stop!!!! I wonder if someone complained to TLC about so many episodes of WNTW? It's obviously a very popular show, so if they wanted to make some changes, couldn't they have show a few episodes of something else in addition to WNTW?
It IS baffling, Forensicsgirl. Perhaps you can do a show, "CSI:TLC" that examines all the minute details about this decision. I'm still gonna disagree with it, but maybe if I knew what they were thinking ... It's not like people aren't already sick of "Say Yes to the Dress", though! Balance it out a little, especially on Friday nights!
BTW, the story says this this upcoming made-over lady and her husband are in the "forensics and debate" department at this college. Those are two different courses of study, right? You don't have actual "debates" about forensics, do you?

LOL! I would leave no memo unturned to find out what the heck TLC is thinking! I'm not sure what the 'debate' aspect she's talking about is apart from conferring with the police about specific forensic evidence and whether it is or isn't relevant to a case. Must be something new.
Forensics is also defined as "the art or study of argumentation and formal debate." I was in "forensics" in high school; not only did it include debate, but also storytelling, extemporaneous speaking, poetry, and other kinds of speeches. It was basically performance of the spoken word.

True. You don't tip the owner of a salon or day spa because they get all the profits from the visit. You tip the employees if they do the cut or other service, because they only make a wage, and the tipping is to encourage them to do a good job. The owners should be doing as best a job possible because it is their own business.
