I know someone here in Canada who needs a serious makeover ... Her clothes are very weird let's just say this... she can't dress good! I was thinking if there is anyway to help her in Canada?
If not there should! I'm thinking What not to Wear Canada!!! I know there are lots of Canadians who need help to. Please leave you opinion.

There are definitely a lot of Canadians that need a serious makeover ASAP! I can think of at least 4 people that I would like to nominate...at the top of my list would be one of my best friends who has such a talent for singing/songwriting but has no idea how to dress the part. I really want to see her go somewhere with her music but I know that it would be difficult unless she got some fashion help.

I am actually Canadian, and I've been LONGING for some help for a looooooong time(even before I started watching this show). I've daydreamed about nominating myself and my friends and think it would be a great idea.

Since the show is broadcast in Canada too, I wonder why we never see anyone from Canada on the show? Does anyone know if there was ever anyone nominated from Canada?

I know they helped a girl from Teranah, I mean, Toronto, before. That's all I can remember. If we're nice to them, maybe they'll come! Vancouver is a beautiful city, WNTW staff!

While I do NOT work for the show, I have worked in fashion, both retail, wholesale, and as a fashion coordinator and style editor for many years. My husband is Canadian and I would be happy to help anyone who needs it. I LOVE this stuff and feel with my many years of experience and a passion for fashion have the qualifications to help those who are willing. It would be my pleasure.

If they ever did a copycat show here in Canada, it would only be for people in Toronto, just like every other show they make. (especially home design show)

one of my teachers dresses horribly. It's too bad they don't have it here in canada, she really needs help. she wore PLAID tights with this really digusting knitted green sweaterdress type thing with puffy shoulders. And it gets worse. you may not beilive it, but its true!

There are a few Canadian make-over shows. Style by Jury for one, but I suspect that they only choose Toronto participants, and I'm not sure if they are still doing new episodes. There was another one that had a motorhome and went on the road (can't recall the name), but I doubt they went outside of southern Ontario. Steven & Chris had a make-over show for awhile, but they just made-over the participants for one event. There was another similar show that may have been Canadian -- it might have had Diva in the name? But again, I think they were all Toronto based -- as you say, just like almost all the home design shows.

My daugher in turning 23. She has worked as a server in a bar for the last 4 years. Her clothes are mostly black and having the girls hang out is a big thing to her. I would like her to learn to dress classy and not so hanging out there. She is a beautiful girl and needs help. She is a big girl and wears alot of clothes that are not flattering.

Please help her because she is now looking for a new job. She can't go on interviews with the way she wears clothes now.

To redhead6, yes, I have seen one episode where they have a girl from toronto on. Her name was Lisa and it was a fairly old episode. it is on the "What Not to Wear: Mom Makeovers" DVD. I hope I helped. Wink

what not to wear should definately do another show in Canada. I know everyone on here can think of a few people they would nominate, and i can think of a few myself.
i would also love to nominate myself! After having a baby, my bodies changed so much i cant keep up with the fashion of others my age.

stacy and Clinton Please come to Canada yes I may live in Canada and i watch your show when ever it is on I know myself and others espeicially my aunt could use a lesson on what not to wear.
the lady you have had on today being monday april 20 and one on Friday i really felt shown you nor clinton any respect. I promise if i were ever lucky enough to get on What not to wear I would show you respect and consider it a reall honor to get tips from my two favorit actors Stacy and clinton
Why do i feel I deserve this well I have over come some addictions and have 2plus years of soriety today and Iam also recently entering the single live after a 14 yr marriage so I need to re educate shape up and in desperate need of the whole what not to wear team i would love to have your hairstylist do a makeover for me if you will accept someone from Canada I will travel to be on your show to even half 2.5 thousand instead of the whole 5
You are Truely my favorite actors and this is my favorite show so pleas let me come to you as a canadian or please come to canada and allow canadians from anywhere to come to you

I sure hope that what not to wear comes to Canada, my friend is the worst dresser ever!! he wears shirts that are holey and faded with ripped pockets, and sometimes rolls his jeans up too his knees!! he cuts his own hair... with dog clippers!! he needs professional help, he had no clue, the poor guy.

WNTW has had four MOs from Canada--Larissa, Diana, Mirella and Lisa, all from Toronto. I'd like to see more episodes featuring Canadians too. WNTW producers: are you listening?

I'd love to see a What Not To Wear in Canada. Especially how to dress well for our diverse climate - and NO we don't all wear lumberjack plaid jackets in the winter, but we do wear boots and down coats.

So I challenge Stacey and Clinton to come to Canada, eh?

I am an immigrant from Montreal. Since my arrival to Canada, 3 years ago, i've been wearing clothes from second hend stores, donation banks and cheap sales. I'm ready to change this!
