In a recent commercial for WNTW (the one with the cruise ship) they only show Stacy doing the ambush, reviewing the secret footage, and doing the 360. Where did Clinton go?

He may have been off doing the Makeover My Spouse episode, which he did solo.

(Keep in mind that episodes are taped, shown and rerun, so something you see today, may have first aired in 2005.)

I noticed that, Aries, and I was concerned, too, but GarnetSue's explanation seems to make sense.
Yet even though I'm a regular WNTW viewer, I have never seen "Make Over My Spouse" or commercials for it.
What can you tell me about it? Is this a new episode that's going to come out soon, or was it a repeat? Is it/was it an attempt to bring some guys into a WNTW-type situation without it actually being WNTW?
I don't mind Stacy and Clinton doing special projects at all as long as they continue a decent amount of episodes paired on WNTW!!!!

I am watching right now (7/8/08 at 10:15 pm EST). According to the previews, the episode that is coming up this Friday (7/11/08) is "All New." It is called "Cruisewear" on the schedule. So if it's new, then is Clinton doing a new Redo My Spouse episode?

I heard on showbiz tonight that Clinton claims that Stacy tried to sexually seduce him, and now Clinton refuses to work with her. So now the shows are going to be split down the middle and the format is changing.

Shut up! Seriously?! I was just wondering the same thing. And I caught Redo for the first time tonight and LOVED it! It deals with way more than just a fashion makeover. Highly recommend it. Maybe my husband will even watch it with me...

I don't buy that one bit. Clinton and Stacy play for the same team when it comes to that, and since they've been working together for so long, I highly doubt she'd try something like that since she knows it would be fruitless.

I agree with Matt. I seriously doubt there's even a kernel of truth in that ridiculous gossip.

I just did a google search of Clinton, Stacy and Showbiz tonight and can't find anything to back up that statement.

I came here to find out the same thing... this is a new epi tonight... sure hope it is only a temp thing!!!!! I would miss the two of them together...

I've got the show on right now and Clinton is not on. They are calling it a "What Not to Wear" special, so I hope Clinton's absence is only for this show.

I don't know where he is and I demand an explanation! I'm watching tonight and only Stacy is on. The show is horrible without him!

I was on this cruise and sat in for the taping of the reveal.

Stacy said that this episode was a Girls only show. If Clinton was on vacation or taping another show, I have no idea but there didn't appear to be a breakup...

She was SO NICE in person. She did a Q&A before filming and stood right in front of me. The first words out of her mouth - "You wore a blue hoody to meet me?" "Well, it was either this, or a Senor Frog's Drink Tequila T-shirt." :-)

Just saw the "At Sea" episode last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. A couple of observations:
1) Stacy did a tremendous job on this one. The MO was not happy at times and her attitude went up and down. Stacy realized this and made a real effort to make it work...loved it when they had a cocktail before shopping (who knew Stacy could drink like that!), and then when Stacy volunteered to do the Running Man if the MO would hang in. That was a tough balance in terms of giving pointed and useful comments and not pushing this woman over the edge. Bravo Stacy, and great line about needing a vacation after your vacation!
2) Loved seeing Stacy in her workout gear for that quick cutaway. She's always dressed to the nines, so it was fun to see her in that light!
3) I don't buy the gossip about S + C that was posted above. From what I know and have read, it doesn't make any sense on many levels. Such postings are one drawback of these message boards, but I don't believe it for a minute.
4) KJPG, thanks for the tidbit from the cruise. Glad to hear Stacy is pleasant to the fans, which I'm sure is almost always the case.
5) As I said above, I like the show better with S AND C, but if they're off doing individual projects, or it's a special thing, I have no problem with it. But they are great as a pair, and I'm sure they know that.

Myrna Loy was pretty hot and sexy in the first one.

I love the goofy chemistry between Stacy and Clinton. The only reason my husband will watch it with me is that he likes Clinton. I'd be very disappointed if he was really gone. I really like Stacy, but I can see where the contributor might have felt ganged up on. Lot's of jr hi baggage from mean girls I'm sure. I think Clinton helps to soften that edge. I watched the cruise epi last night. I, too, wondered where Clinton was and thought there should have been more of an explanation than just "it's a girls only" cruise. It's not like there was anything going on that would have been uncomfortable for a man to be there. It's just possible that Clinton couldn't be away from his home for a full week or more at that time.

I wonder if the MO felt like she lost her "cruise vacation" because she had to spend so much time shopping and being made over. Instead of being able to enjoy her "ports of call," she had to power shop - very exhausting. The show should have given her another cruise afterwards so she could get the relaxing vacation she originally paid for.

Clinton does travel with Macy's. So he could have been off with the Macy's Tour. He did go to Hawaii, so he could have been there. I don't believe this junk about S+C splitting it seems like a load of junk.

Good News - Clinton was on QVC yesterday and at the end of his show the host announced "Don't forget to watch Clinton on WNTW..." Yeah!!!!!

PS matthelm - Yes, Nora Charles always had the greatest attitude!

That episode was sooooo weird without him and it wasn't really what not to wear without him but i rember it was called LADIES cruise i'm not saying the cruise was for girls only but the show had all girls in it so it was probably just stacy like in some girl time shopping thing. That is the one thing i was asking my mom the whole show, where's clinton where's clinton so yeah and i saw the episode of makeover my spouse and i think it is a stupid show.
