My girlfriend loves "What Not to Wear" and I often watch it with her. I do enjoy it but I would like to see more men on the show. I realize that a fashion show is mainly targeted at a female audience, but I can't be the only one who wants to see some guys on the show.
This subject has appeared on other threads. In the past when men were on the show, viewer ratings dropped and WNTW decided to quit featuring male MOs. Too bad because posts like yours show that there's a definite interest out there in the viewing audience.
I watched the rerun of a 'couples' makeover this afternoon, Nicole and Will, and found it extremely annoying. It was so overly scripted to have them constantly bickering about clothes and shopping, that it was phony, phony, phony. Either one of them alone would have been okay, I think, but the cutsy-poo scripted bickering ruined the show.
I also think some of the men's makeovers gave Carmindy and Nick less to do, so they have opted more for the women's makeovers. Once again, as I have mentioned on other threads here, on the BBC version, men were regularly featured.
