They seem to be headed for a possible break-up. What I don't understand is that they are very serious Christians and the Bible states clearly that you are not to break your marriage vows. I am praying for them and hope they can look beyond their own selfish desires and show a true appreciation towards the sacred vows they took.

You are right about keeping your marriage vows. Man, I know it must be very difficult to keep your vows if you must live with someone who obviously hates you so much. I would like for Matt to have a loving and supportive wife to comfort him in his later years. He will undoubtedly being incapacitated and have little independence.
And maybe Amy can find someone who makes her happy. I don't know the answer, but if they don't do something, I think things could go from bad to worst. That's not good for the kids.

It seems their religion keeps coming up in these posts, especially today. Other than going to a Christian school, I've not noticed so much their religious ways or lack of religious ways. I know on one of their many trips, they were at a chapel, and Amy made some comment about going to church no matter where you are. And, that was the first time I had heard he mention church. NOT that she hadn't mentioned it, I just had not noticed.

Amy goes to speaking engagements at churches and colleges. If she can't motivate her own young adults, do you want her to motivate yours?
