IMO, alot of the problems we are now seeing isn't coming from immaturity on Matt's part. It's coming from Amy's fame. The way I see things, Matt is still the same person he has been since the show started. Amy has changed quite a bit. They have both become quite well known since having a Reality TV Show. Matt has more or less stayed grounded. Amy has taken her fame and run with it. She now poses for the cameras. She seems to me to think she is "all that" now and Matt isn't. (She isn't either). Amy 'acts' like a star. She has changed just like Kate, but Amy's changes have been slower and more subtle. But those changes are there, and show more and more. Matt is still the Matt we met 5 years ago. And I'm glad Matt is the way he is. No airs - no fame - no better or worse looking. The fame hasn't changed Matt. Amy's fame (in her mind) has just left Matt behind. That's just my opinion!

I'm not sure about Amy. IMO she has always been critical, selfish, and greedy. There is just more of it now.

Matt was a salesman when we met him...and he is still a salesman.

But the idea of Amy, in her cotton sweat pants, and one of the most unpretentious people I've ever seen, playing to the cameras did give me a laugh.

You're right that Matt hasn't changed. He was always the selfish spendthrift we still see.
