One - name change - bottom line, anonymity - or as close to it as I can be. I chose my first name without any forethought and regret it now, (an oxymoron if I've every seen one... anonymous website with pictures and names plastered all over it) and a fellow poster, heather, thought I was a male.

Two - except for me asking the board for clarification on a grammatical no-no, I'm steering clear of that issue. Be STRONG ritarig!! Back away from the monitor... take a few deep breaths... then quickly click over to a different topic.

Three - I've spent too much time to calculate in the hospital rooms with each of my daughters. While there I encountered many different nurses. There is one nurse in particular who reminds me of Kate. She was so on task, every second. Her charts were immaculate. She lived and breathed organization. I've seen charts abounding in the Gosselin home. Kate is quite the structured and organized gal. But... in the long run, the combo of ultra-organized and 8 X unpredictable youngster = Kate on 'calming' meds soon... if not already.

Why did they take LPBW off the air during the daytime? I used to love watching the show at 11:30 a.m. West Coast time, but they stopped airing it. Now it's nothing but J&K+8... I like that show but too much of it!! Please bring back the Roloffs .. I miss them!!!

Yes, it was nice when they had it on at 11:30 every day. You can catch it on Tuesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. but it will be the same episodes as on Mondays.

Without a doubt I like Jon and Kate so much more. None of us can truly relate to having 8 kids basically all the same age. I had four, and babysat, but my life was never as hectic as the Goslin family. They are wonderful parents and are raising beautiful children with dignity and respect. Kate has to be strict or her kids would take over. She may come un-glued once in a while and take it out on Jon, but she needs to have an sounding board, and Jon is it. These two people love each other.

As for the Roloff's. I used to enjoy this show very much, but that has cooled this season for one reason, Matt Roloff. He is a controlling Peter Pan. He thinks he is a visionary, and creates HIS dreams on his families backs. WHY in the world did he want to add on to his house when his kids are almost at an age where they will be moving out? He uprooted everyone out of their rooms, and relagated them to sleeping in the living room for months on end.
"I wanna do this...I wanna do that" is Matt's mantra. I want to do what I want to do even if the other people in my family are displaced and inconvienced. He dosen't even see that it bothers them.
Matt interupts everyone to interject his own spin on everything.
I also think that adding on to an already adaquit home is a waste of natural resourses. It costs energy to heat and cool such a large house.
PLUSSSSS sorry Roloff's, but you people are pig's. Don't you ever clean your house? Better to invest in a house cleaner then to add on to the home! It drives me to distraction to see junk all over the couches, on the floors, in the kitchen. It's one thing to see the kids rooms dirty, another to see the main part of the home in such a sorry state. Build a bigger house=more space to spread the junk!

All in all, I think last season was the last that I will be watching LPBW. I don't think there is anything they can expand apon, and I am not interested in where they went on vacation this year, sorry.

The kids do act a little better than in the past but the show now centers around what they buy or build and vacations.
Amy and Matt seem to offer little conscience to the kids for bad grades.
If I was on staff with TLC I'd arrange for 'Clean house' or those cleaning ladies on BBC to pay them a visit along with that Nanny!
I'd love to see what a swab sample would show when those BBC ladies do the test for germs and bacteria! That would be a hoot to see Amy's face!

That BBC show is "How Clean Is Your House", and it is one of my favorites. Anyone who has not seen this show, it's interesting to note that the vast majority of the homes these two lady's go into to clean are VERY small. I have only seen one home that was large enough to hold an American family. We do love our space, don't we?

Anyway, the ladies go in and clean these horrid, awful homes, with natural cleaners, baking soda, lemon's and the like. They do, before they clean, use swabs to check for bacteria, then show the home owner what kind of muck they live in. I pray the Roloff's are not as dirty as this, but they do have way to much clutter.
My fist husband was never required to clean up after himself. He used to throw his clothes off on the ground next to the bed or in the bathroom, and I had to clean it up. I would hate to turn a child out in to the world that did that to their spouce. My four kids are pretty clean, with my second son being very good about keeping his house clean. I trained my boys to clean and how to do laundry telling them that they would have to do this to help out their wives when they married. After all, it is not fair for a woman to work all day, come home and take care of the kids and look after a husbandchild!

Roloff's, train your children to keep their space clean, and there is nothing wroing about helping out with the entire house. After all, you help your father with his little projects, help inside the house as well. Have some pride, ya know!?

I like both Jon & Kate Plus 8 and LPBW. However, I just don't understand why Amy and Matt don't communicate more in their marriage? Me and my hubby communicate all the time and we always talk things over before doing anything major. Shouldn't it be that way in a good marriage? Kate sort of reminds me of me sometimes. LOL. I do give my hubby "Love Spats" alot, but not in a hateful way or anything like that. When we are joking around with each other, that is when I tap him on the leg or arm. He doesn't think there is anything wrong with it. I'm far from being organized like Kate, but I do try to keep things in a good order. I can't imagine having that many kids myself. We have 2 girls and I make them mind me as well. I'm not trying to offend anyone, just giving my opinion is all.

I vote for LPBW and I really wish it would be on at least as often as J&K+8. In fact, in the past week LPBW has not been on at all, while the other show has been on continuously for 6 days. I'm sick of it!

I don't have children at home anymore either, and also have never had a home. I work where I live (I work here for free rent), and I can't afford to have my teeth whitened either, BUT, I think this and the hair transplant were gratis my dear. Paid for by the people who performed the service, just like Kate's tummy tuck.

If I had someone want to spencer somthing like that, I'm sure I would jump on the bandwagon.

Same with the vacations. These are not apid for by the Goslin's either. It makes for good programing, so business compinsate. List me in the creadits, and show my logo on the show, and I'll "gift" you with a vacation.

Do yuo think the Roloff's have the money to go on their vacations every year? I hardley think so. You know they are business comp's.

Not saying this is good or bad, it is what it is, and given the chance, I'd do the same.

I’ve seen this show, too. Some of the homes are so disgusting! Who lets their toilet get so dirty it is literally a blackish color? YUCK!

The only complaint I have about that show is their use of: lemon, baking soda, sugar etc. I wish they used regular cleaning products.
It’s just unrealistic for me to bust out a lemon to clean a window. (lol)

But, it is fun to watch.

The thread about Jon and Kate at TWoP (I read over there, but only have posted like twice) has been closed permanently. You can't start a new thread there either about it..I do not know why. They must have deleted all the good stuff like they did here once. ahaah

If my TV guide is correct LP is only on twice tonight and Jon and Kate is on 5 times..(well up till midnight cuz that is the farthest time my classy TV guide goes.) and then Wednesday night a marathon of Jon and Kate. You would think that TLC could at least even it out some for goodness sakes.

I've been watching them both for the past few years and I don't like the way the LPBW children talk to Matt & Amy! They should not be allowed to get away with the disrespect the children are showing their parents....especially on TV. They're too old to act that way!
Jon & Kate are the best!! Yes, Kate is controlling, yes, it's loud and confusing, but I totalling respect the organization of this family and Mady does need a stronger discipline routine, it's almost ignored now and someone needs to pay more attention and show her the "time out" corners when she behaves like such a brat.
I truly love both shows.....both are amazing and no comparison!

Jon and Kate is a newer show and might have more viewers at this point then LPBW... or perhaps they are trying to draw in viewers with reruns. Regardless though, there has never been a shortage of LPBW on tv.

LPBW is in between seasons. That's why they're not on at 8pm Monday for the time being. If you want your fix, you can watch LPBW repeats on the Planet Green Channel.

I find it interesting that they would air LPBW on that channel. The Roloff's are definitely not green.

There could be green growing in the house and we haven't seen it yet. LOL. Sorry, but I don't know how to use emoticons or change the colors. LOL. I'm still learning. Just threw this in for a little humor is all.

Little People Big World gets my vote without a doubt. Jon and Kate plus 8, I've watched about 7 episodes and I just can't get into it whereas LPBW after I saw the first show I was hooked. I loved watching LPBW in the day time but now I am kinda ticked b/c they took it off for Jon and Kate. I want LPBW back please!!!!

Little People is so much more entertaining than a mom always nagging her inept husband to help with the kids. Matt, Amy and the kids seem more genuine than Jon and Kate and their eight kids IMHO.
