I am glad of one thing of all this BVI controversy--that Poppy got to go this time. From what we have seen of him, I have always liked him the most of all the Roloffs. He is patient and good-humored. He and Honey raised a family of children with multiple serious medical problems. He is not dramatic or over-controlling but is always there in the background for the family. He accepted with humor and good grace that he was too old to scuba for as long as the kids could. Good for him that he got to go! I only wish Honey could have come too!

Yeah, I was happy to see Poppy too. And I would love to see Honey. I wonder if they're not around as much as before because of Amy's attitude. IMO, Amy never appeared to care too much for them, and that was before Amy became "famous" (in her mind). But yeah, I'd like to see more of Poppy and Honey!

It's too bad Honey didn't go. I guess they all decided it was going to be a guy's trip since all the girls kept bailing. It's too bad though, because Jeremy's friend who goes on way too many trips with them, could have stayed home to make room for Honey. Or who knows, maybe Honey just didn't want to go.

Ron and Honey worked at the old west village during the pumpkin season at Roloffs. They made a fantastic cross country trip this summer. They leave for Thailand tomorrow.
Here is her remark about the VI trip "Ron returned from his exotic vacation all browned and happy"
She had hip replacement surgery almost a year ago.
