I've been watching MM from the first, but it was the crass commercial for The Tale of Len & Squiggy that made me contact AP. Then I found this board when they announced this site told where to see meerkats in zoos.
I'm a very tenderhearted animal lover, have rescued several cats from the local pound, as well as hand raising a one week old kitten who was left under my house. I think I love the meerkats so much because they make me think of one of my cats, Tawnee. Her coat is sort of meerkat color, and she runs through the house like a meerkat on patrol.

I'm new, but I've been watching MM from the beginning. Carlo's death moved me to want to communicate with fellow meerkat lovers. The episode with Kinkajou eating Mozart's pups was a killer, too. Mozart has been my favorite for a long time, mainly because of the way she stood by Shakspeare after he was biten by the snake.

It looks to be a rough season ahead, so I'm glad I found this place!

We are here to cuddle our way through all the sadness and groom each other when heartbroken. Glad you found us or decided to begin posting.

Wow, I'm only gone for a bit and there is a whole bunch of folks to welcome.....so as not to miss anyone I'm going to give a great big group welcome... WELCOME EVERYONE!!!!!

This place is pretty cool. There is a mix board with games, poems, songs. The spoiler board [dont look if you dont want to know], main board, and an episode board. All kinds of fun things [or even serious discussions] whichever you prefer. Just have fun....
BTW...I have 9 fur children [6 cats and 3 dogs]. Noone here will look at anyone strange for loving so many fur babies...[term includes scales, feathers etc]. Just keep your hearts open and you will do just fine...

Hi everyone. My husband got me hooked on the show last season and I just love it.That is why I am called Christopher. I am so sad for losing Carlos and the little ones 2 weeks in a row. It is going to be a tough season and I am glad you guys are on here to help each of us through it. On a lighter side I just adopted a Meerkat yesterday. We did this earlier in the year and we go and visit for 2 hours to feed them and watch them. It is wonderful. They are so precious. They do their little war dances when they see other in the next burrow area. Anyway, thanks for letting me come on here. Talk with you soon.

Wow, so many new people, welcome everyone - I sometimes feel like I am the only one watching Meerkat Manor - noone I work with watches it - but I tell them about it anyway - I finally did get someone else to watch and they are hooked - but then I come here and there are so many people who are into these meerkats as much as I am - thanks for that -

Hi! I've been a member for about 2 minutes now! Just got my confirmation email. I live in southeastern Arizona and have 4 dogs (all Humane Society rescues) as well as a crazy ferret. I have two of my adult children living with me. I absolutely love the fuzzies on Meerkat Manor!
