Good morning jjewles, ever since I down loaded the flash thing my computer as been having fits, I do not know why either Try not to give up, I do not want you to leave.

Again, I don't know what is going on here, but I hate to sense any tension between members.

We really are a friendly group here. Sometimes a few tails get raised, but, please, no war dancing on anyone. Personal attacks, even veiled ones, are not allowed here and should be reported to mod_kelly.

Computer problems are rampant on the board again. You know I had to resign in, and the specter of names changing before my eyes is enough to make any of us cringe. At first it was funny, now its, like, dreadful.

Jewels, I have no idea what you are talking about. I told you I liked reading your posts. You always have a clear viewpoint, at least until now. I'm confused! Why have you singled me out?

Everyone is having problems in here. It is no one person who is causing your computer problems. It is computer programing and perhaps a virus issue. Believe me, I am not programer! I can't even figure out how to start my own blog on Yahoo.

I'll tell you what I did that seemed to resolve the issues I was having in here and all over the internet as well.

I recently updated my anti-virus program. Things really strarted acting crazy after that. So I called Norton [the anti-virus program I have]. I was very lucky to get a tec that KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING! He and I were on the phone for over 2 hours. He took me to places I'd never been before in my computer. After he adjusted certain things my problems in this site and the rest of the internet were resolved for the most part. I wouldn't call it perfect but then nothing ever is!

Ther are many programs done by different sites and companies that don't play nice together. Windows and Norton were having several arguements over my system. This tec knew which ones to turn off so my system would run smoother. He also adjusted problems unrelated to Norton and/or Windows. We also did a complete virus search on my system. It was soooo worth the 2 hours of my time!

Jewels, your computer is not being attacked by anyone in this chat unless an evil person who KNOWS PROGRAMING worked very, very hard to infect this site with a virus. And if that's the case a good anti-virus program should cover your computer against that. It however can't resolve the issues for this site. It's up to the Discovery Network programers to protect and fix this site. Nothing on our computers can do that.

99.99% of the folks that come to this chat don't have the knowhow required to create a virus! To think that you alone are bing targeted is not true. If you are having computer problems in here, so are the rest of us. Please don't think that anyone is out to get you. You seem to be a very nice, bright person and a wonderful addition to this forum.

Jeez! All I did was decide to do a little watercolor painting yesterday. I'm gone for 20 hours and when I come back I'm running for the nearest bolt hole!

jjewels, don't leave, this whole site has been upside down since before Halloween. I've watched people's screen names change before my eyes. I don't understand what happened, but don't let it run you off from here. hugs

jjewels, no one wants you to leave, this site has had some many problems like cordee said. It took me a week to get it up after the episode with Mozart ..boy was that rough..even now we are still having trouble with it!!!

You have no idea how much it means to me that my wonderful burrow mates missed me. I need a little comfort and joy, grooming, cuddles, hugs, and playfighting!

Angel, you're not to far off. The DM went into one of his sniveling, whining, nothing pleases me, the world is out to get me, if I'm not happy no one is, tangents. I had to get out of here or no one would have had enough $$$$ to bail me out. Not even Donald Trump!!!

I've been out of the house doing a little visiting and shopping. Or I've been hiding in my workroom painting. Anything to avoid being in his line of fire. Let him be a miserable scrooge!! I'm not letting him ruin my Holiday. I can always find better things to do than be miserable.

I'm beginning to think I should move my puter into my workroom. This way I can shut the door and have some peace and quiet. He knows better than to come in there and start his "sweating the small stuff, silly, waste of my time," rants! I have a multitude of very sharp objects in that room, and I know how to use each and every one of them! HEHEHE

LOL!! Enought time wasted on my problems. The coast is clear and I can get on my puter now without someone irritating and annoying me to distraction. So, ya think I'm baking cookies with him? NOT!!!!! LOL!!!

I've been sitting here wondering if I should post this. What the heck! This is how I feel, so I'm hitting "Post Now" If it gets triggered or reported, so what. I got it out of my system!!! And I feel soooooo much better! That's all that counts!
