Nope dmoo, never heard of it. If it is only being sent to mothers and family's well that leaves me out...nice to know it is out there though!

i think the package sounds great. how do i get mine? if there's a way, i'll figure out how to get extras. a good friend of mine brought me some red and orangey colored roses. what a surprise! too bad my DM doesn't know how to make a girl happy. candy would be nice though. enjoy your dollar goodies hildy! lol hey dmoo, congtats. after you retire and you're rovin the country, come through illinois and have some coffee. was watching the news about that deal in northern ill. things are crazy anymore. it's hard enough to keep kids in school as it is and you got idiots out there doing this stuff. my heart goes out to those up there and their families. you know, i still don't know about darkdreamDD. has anyone heard from her?. i don't know why, but i really think alot of her. hope she is doing ok. i'm ramblin on again aren't i? sorry. i can only have so much conversation with the dogs. hee hee take care and lots of hugs everybody.

Korkiemama, I got my tin foil hat on! I think it may be helping a bit. We have a flu epidemic here, and what ever it is, the flu shots are not helping people at all! Go figure. It makes all your joints hurt. Yucky stuff.

cordee, i'm wondering how you did with all the weather down there. i kept checking on the weather thread and didn't see you post and it had me a little concerned. glad to see you. how ya feeling sista kesch? at least you're well enough to say hi. hildy, just two and a half months left to go. went to doc today and she ordered an MRI on my back because she felt something there where it hurts. and she is also ordering a double knee replacement. hope she has all the money to pay for all those goodies! lol how in the heck am i supposed to take care of my fur babies if i can't walk? how am i supposed to take care of me?  four months of therapy again is not somethine i'm looking forward to. have a good night. hugs |

Ladies...I just love reading this thread, don't post much, but I 'peek' in....ya'll lift my spirits. Sure would like to know more about that package, and just maybe if any of our local zoos are chosen for the meerkat awareness and concert....just maybe some of us could meet. My closet zoos would be Indy, Louisville, and the farthest would be St. Louis. If not, I'lll just settle for the 'package' here |

Korkiemama, darling, I feel for you! They only do one knee at a time, right? I know what you mean about whos paying for it! Please let us know what they find on the MRI. I have Scoliosis, and my twisted spine is pushing my ribs out. I need to see an orthapedic dr. I'am like you, whos going to pay for it! Lol

Gosh ladies....hope no one thinks that, well, I know some of you are hurting....but, ladies there is such a commraderie here...I just wanted to come here. There is a spirit of meerkat sisterhood here.
please know that I 'ache' for you, some of you have been under the weather with the flu, Korkie and Kescha...I'll keep you both in my prayers...
Hildy, have you ever thought about a meerkat quilt??? Just a thought, I know I few of us here would beat your door down to have one!

Hey Debbe it is good to see you post here!! Keep coming back, we have kinda our own little sisterhood here (and of course Wilson is always welcome). After I retire this June, I hope to make many quilts, as I really enjoy quilting in the morning..in the morning light. Sure I have thought of a meerkat quilt...just need the time to design one. I am working on a couple of projects now.
Hey Korkie...you poor sweetie...keep us posted with all those scans!
Kesche...yes..I wish we could all have free medical insurance!! Sure would help!
