Hi everyone. I know alot of individuals are going to be thinking of our little Flower tomorrow on her birthday. Should we have a moment of silence or should we raise a glass? I think we should raise a glass, but I'm asking everyone's opinion.

Well titus no matter what people will be doing i think its a super great idea to lift our glass to our Queen Flower Whiskers♥♥♥

AT NOON TOMORROW I WILL BE IN MIND LIFTING MY GLASS TO HER

I have bought a miniature rose bush in memory of our Kalahari Rose, hoping to plant it later when it is warmer,, but will raise my glass to this much cherished lady meerkat, her family the Whiskers and the love we have for them all.

Ccatz, a rose bush is such a wonderful tribute. A living memorial to Flower.

I will probably observe a moment of silence for Flower on her birthday.

Some of us are going to the San Diego Zoo tomorrow. At noon we will go to one of the Meerkat exhibits, have a moment of silence and then burst into singing happy birthday to Flower. I think the Meerkats may enjoy that...or maybe just scare them....I am not sure how others at the zoo will respond, but hopefully they will all join in.

I also have a painting of Flower hanging on the wall in my den. I look at her every day and smile. She is absolutely beautiful!

On Flower's birthday, I opened up my TCB book and started reading her story again and thought of all the changes in my life since I first saw the little queen. I remembered her in joy, when she hipslammed even Zaphod over a juicy millipede, when she accepted a lost pup at her side, when she led the Whiskers to victory time and time again. I sat quietly and remembered what a tiny animal half-way around the world has caused to happen for many of us, and I was comforted. What a precious gift to have shared with you all she was and still is.

i bought a meerkat figure to honor flower. and i sang happy birthday to flower and that night i had a moment of silence
