Hurray for Whitney, she won! She was rockin' the runway. As Paulina said, I don't think she should be called plus-sized, she should just be called beautiful!!!! My brownies were not in vain, she won for every brownie I ate!!

dmoo, looks like those brownies worked, huh? You are so right though, Hurray for Real People. You ever wonder why all of these shows there are never any "normal" sized people. I think the only show I watch that has a normal person on it "Criminal Minds". Every one else is runway thin. MAKES ME SICK. I think I'm just jealous. ha-ha.

Woo-hoo for Whitney!! Guess I can eat 2 pieces of pizza tomorrow & not feel so guilty. Some of those stick thin models are scary - remember the camera adds 10lbs! (or 10 inches to the height of a meerkat on tv)

I went to a River Cats baseball game last night and I ate a salad. A SALAD! And you know it was sooooo goooood.

Way to go Mitch, going with a salad at a ball game!! Sometimes I wish that was a choice when I go to games. I think the healthiest MLB food is (or was) at my CA Angels stadium. \
Didn't have to lift 50lb bags - done when I got there, but still had to do alot of set-up. The pizza was so bad I didn't even finish a slice! The next day I spent a 91 degree day in a tent, drinking lots of H2O! I work with an animal rescue group & we had a booth there so it was for a good cause. I only slipped & had a bbq polish sausage, but no chips or pop. I think I sweated off a few pounds.

Meergato, if the camera adds 10 lbs, some of those models must be 80 lbs!! and they are all at least 5'6" to be on the show! The camera's do add the inches to meerkats! It is so amazing when you hold one in one hand, and think about how big our Flower looked (and acted)!

Still holding the weight down. Back on salads now that the fresh ingredients are available. In fact, I'm thinking that I may just go ahead and plant a tomato or two in the back yard; maaaybeee even a little kitchen garden out there. Everything is better when I have to work for it!!

Meergato, I planted tomatoes, but it was so hot last year, they didnt have much of a chance. I hope they do better this year. I'am glad you didn't have to lug those 50 lb bags. That not good on a persons back. I think that animal rescue is great, way to go!

My DM, Figaro, was a stray kitten I took end over 13yrs ago. He is my baby and my best friend. I wish more people knew that animals are so special.
I did good this weekend. When back to a Sacarmento River Cats game. Had another salad.
You know I am starting to really look forward to my ball game salads. It taste so good on a hot summer night.

Love the idea of the Sacramento Meerkats! Hey Mitch, do they ever play the Tacoma Rainiers or the Humboldt Crabs? Next to the Angels, I love minor league baseball!! Went to the gym Sunday to work out (in wonderful air conditioning) & the weigh-in showed a loss of 6lbs! Maybe I need some more 91 degree days - more like more salads & chicken. I'm going to start clucking soon. MUST STAY MIGHTY!!

Good Morning Burrow mates,
meergato I have never been to a major league baseball game...yet SF Gaints and Oakland "A"'s are in the bay area. Just don't like to deal with the traffic. We haven't played Tacoma or Humboldt that I know of but I will keep my eye out. I have never been one to watch a baseball game on the TV but there is something about being at a live game that is so exciting. I have really been enjoying the games this season.
And now that I have discovered salads at the ball park I can enjoy the game and eat healthy.
Hang in there with the salads and chicken. I will be clucking along with you. You keep up the good work. We are all in this together.

I dont have a scale in the house. Have to get one. I have never been to a live baseball game. It sure sounds like a lot of fun. I have been eating yogurt for lunch, along with veggies.

Kescha - those mini cakes are "Double Fudge Cakes" (found the box). Can eat right out of freezer - I have no patience for thawing. & get thee to a ball game sometime.

I drank tons of water during the hot spell & found out I was still losing electrolytes. A sports drink like gatorade diluted in the water seems to solve that problem.

Good morning burrowmates. Another 1.2 pounds down. Thought it was more, but that's okay too. Back to the gym today so maybe I'll have better results by next week.

Titus, way to go sis! Make sure you stretch good first, and after words. I need to break down and get some scales. I have been eating fruit and drinking juice. Minute Maid Pomegranate and Blueberry is realy good! I go back to the dr on the 30th, to see about my back and knees. At least I can find out what excersies to do, without hurting myself!

Meergato, I'am going to get some of those mini cakes today! I love anything fudge! I'am afraid all the ball games here have been getting rained out.

Everyone is doing sooooooo great.
Ok I am going to do it! I am going to re-join Weight Watcher tomorrow morning. I know the scales are not going to be kind. But knowing all of my burrow mates have my back has given me the push I need to get back on track.
I have been doing OK on my own but I need to be back on the program. My weight is staying about the same. But for health reason I know I need to get this extra weight off.

Go Titus Go!!!!! My last weigh-in was flat but my work overalls & jeans are becoming baggy. Did kamakazi yardwork yesterday (including that mowing) & am feeling it today.
