Jen, the Living Desert's meerkat feeding was about an hour or two before they closed. I didn't notice the time when I was there. Maybe AngelKisses remembers. You'll meet Toolie (DF) and her 4 males. Be sure to call her by name, as she knows her name when it's repeated quickly (e.g. "Toolie, Toolie, Toolie, etc...", spoken real fast). She has 3 legs (the result of a collapsed burrow where she was the only survivor). They live in a cage but are getting an updated habitat soon. If you can, try to ask about the status of that. Also, Heather in the Gift Shop is a big fan of Toolie. Mention that you're from the Meerkat forum. AK & I told her all about it. Also, check out their meerkat cafe.
Since this thread has wrapped to a new page, I'll repeat the open-topic about our California Meetrkat Meetups:
Dec 2 (Sunday) - San Francisco Zoo Dec 8 (Saturday) - San Diego Zoo Dec 9 (Sunday) - San Diego Wild Animal Park
Everyone is invited. We'll meet in SF at the meerkat enclosure at 11:30 and we'll be sure to return for the 2 pm public meerkat feeding. The times in SD haven't yet been finalized, but if you click to the previous page, you'll see our "SD times" discussion.

Hey jensmeerkats! It's Katie... I met you at the LA zoo with Hildy and WCM...
Anyway, I noticed that you asked a question regarding DD and I feel very qualified to answer as I've been a "Duranie" for over 20 years. lol Andy left the band last year because he didn't like the direction the band was going. DD had decided to work with Timbaland and Timberlake on their next album. By the way, they have just release their newest album this month. It's really good! I can't wait to see them next week and meet everyone at the zoo in SD!

Hi, 11-11:30 for the SDZ sounds good...still not sure whats happening with the WAP. I can make it in the morn til 12 and after 3:30 since Im tied up with a play downtown. The WAP is open til 9 (festival of lights)Dec.7-30 but Ive noticed the little meerkats are "in bed" by 4 or so so I wouldnt make it too late. west_coast, yes, I am a member and only 10 min. away so Im fairly flexible.

Meerkater- me too! I've seen them a few times now, but only once with all 5 original & was able to get in to the after party, which was priceless! I talked to Andy for awhile & Simon danced crazy. Andy & Roger's sons were there too. I wish I had not used all my film during the show! I hope you guys have a great time at SF Zoo this weekend! It sounds like you will have a good turnout for SF and SD. WCM- thanks for the info on Toolie! I'll let you know about the Living Desert Meerkat habitat when I get back. I can't wait to see them!

I shall be there before 1PM and I'm looking forward to it but I have a question; how is the best way to approach a meerkat? I'm eager to get near them but then those TEETH! I don't want to get bitten but I am eager to touch one even a tail would do.. I guess what I am asking is everyone experience with what one could call "First Contact" Sincerely- 2dear_2me

SF friends; My friend William & I will be at the SF Zoo's meerkat exhibit tomorrow at 11:30 as mentioned in previous posts. I'll be wearing a green meerkat t-shirt and a backpack. So 2dear said she'll arrive by 1 pm. MozartFav, are you planning on getting there at 11:30 or will you be arriving later. Again, if we happen to miss each other (though we'll try not to), we'll meetup again at the meerkat enclosure for the 2 pm feeding. It'll be nice to meetup and hangout together while seeing all the animals, so those who are planning to arrive at a time other than 11:30 should post their intentions here.

11:30 am both days works for me.
Do we want to brown bag it or eat at one of the park's facilities. Either works for me. I haven't been to either zoo or park in over a decade. I want to hit both gift shops for any meerkat items too.

Weather update. For what it's worth.
Weathermen are predicting a storm at the end of this week. Rain on Friday, not sure on Saturday. But the temps are supposed to drop to around 60 during the day. So it's going to be cold on Saturday and Sunday. Not sure how this will effect the meerkats. Hope they aren't pulled in from display to protect them from the weather.

Hello everybody. I had a great time at the Living Desert on Sunday! I hope all of you that made it to SF had a wonderful time as well. The Meerkats there were half the size of the LA Zoo Meerkats. These ones were sooooo tiny & cute, and had dark brown tails. Around 9:30am they were all sunning themselves and taking it easy. Around 11am that all changed!!! They began running around like crazy, digging, climbing, and fighting with each other. It was like night & day. (Toolie) who only has 3 legs was very sweet & calm, and held her own. They did not do a whole lot of Sentry Duty, especially when it was play time. 1 Meerkat kept running back & forth for about 10 min. Not quite sure why, but I loved them all! I definitely thought of Mozart when I was there.
I just hated to see them in a cage setting after seeing how the LA Zoo's habitat was open. It was larger in size & there were only 2 in LA, where the Living Desert had 5 Meerkats and was smaller.
WCM & Katie- unsure if the habitat is new or not, so I took a picture for you. I'm hoping it is NOT the new one, as they need a larger pen to run around in. I will hopefully have all of the pics posted tomorrow. They are decorating the park for the Holidays, and they have 3 custom-made Meerkat Holiday lights!
Overall, I had a great time visiting the Meerkats at the Living Desert and would reccomend it to everyone! Hopefully the SF meetup was just as wonderful.

Hi All. We had a great time in SF. I just got back late last night and had planned on posting about it with the photos today but I absent-mindedly left my laptop at home this morning, so I'll need a day get access to the photos again, and will post the story & pics by tomorrow night. Sorry for waiting.
Jens, I'm glad you had a great time at the LD. You saw the old meerkat enclosure. The new one is still in planning.
How many people do we have planning to attend our SD Zoo & SD WAP meetups? If we have more than a handful, I'll see if the zoo is interested in doing something special with us.

Hi all, I also had a great time on Sunday at the SF Zoo...it was great to meet those that where able to attend: Jensmeerkat, WestCoastMeerkat, 2Dear. The weather was fine, no rain...yah!!! and seeing the meerkats and feeding them was a blast almost as much for me as for the kats getting the food!!! Jensmeerkat; I wasn't able to click on the link for your photos... WestCoastMeerkat, thanks for rounding up the meerkat fans, hopefully, we can do it again sometime...

San Diego Zoo Planning:
As Arloaf mentioned, there's rain in the forecast, so the the amount of rain and when it will pour is anyone's guess. It's Wednesday now so one thing we can do is wait until Thu/Fri for weather updates to see if we'll dodge the rain. If it's pouring on Saturday, then it makes no sense to go, but if it's only sprinkling at various times, I still plan to attend. I have a zoo-membership so in my case, there's no financial loss if I show up and it's raining. For those buying day-passes, you'll want to pay close attention to upcoming weather developments before spending $30 on admission. They say the rain should be mostly gone on Sunday. Since I have an SD concert to attend on Sunday, I'll be there that day no matter what. Therefore, I'll ask the following to all SD attendees:
If it pours all day on Saturday and the SD zoo meetup is rained out, do we want to continue with our plan of attending the SD WAP on Sunday, or do we want to reschedule the SD Zoo meetup for Sunday if we can't go on Saturday?
For those who don't know, the SD Zoo provides a better meerkat viewing experience, so if we can only visit on Sunday, due to Saturday rain, should our one choice be the SD Zoo?
The idea to visit the SD Zoo on Saturday originated when Hildy said she couldn't visit on Sundays. However, the latest I heard from her is that she's not sure if she'll be able to attend. Hildy, any news?
I don't plan on staying home Saturday unless it's really raining, but let's think of a plan-B just in case.

Mozartfav- unsure why my pics won't open for you? Please go to Photobucket.com
On the "Home" page it will ask for the username and password in the top right corner. Username: littlejlm Password: meerkats
Please advise if that does not work, so I can know if it is not working properly. Glad you had a great time at the SF Zoo- can't wait to see the pics! What did you get to feed them?

Last Sunday's Meerkat Meetup at the San Francisco Zoo was so fun. It was exciting to meet Mad4Meerkats & her DM, MozartFav & her DM, and 2dear2me. I'll cut right to the chase. WE FED THE MEERKATS!!! Yes, Kililea was right (for the most part) about the SF Zoo letting the public feed them on Sundays. However, it's a Summertime thing. They don't do it this time of year. However, they have an incredible meerkat keeper named Thomas who is way cool. He's really good with the kats too. When Thomas came around for feeding time, we introduced ourselves as being from the MM Forum and having planned this meetup and where we're all from, so he said that was good enough reason to let us feed them. He pulled out a tub of mealworms and kept giving us all worms to feed the kats. It was a great feeling. We would throw the worms right to the kats. Then we'd throw them between kats to see who would get to it first. Then we'd throw more & more worms to them. That tub of food seemed to last several minutes. Later, the 8 kats gathered on a heated rock on what was a cold day and huddled together which made for a very cute 8-kat photo. The rest of the photos are here. We spent a good amount of time there feeding the kats and talking MM with each other. It had that electricity of the 9/29 LA Zoo meetup. We'll definitely do a Bay Area zoo meetup again. I'm starting to really crave these gatherings. It's great that we have another meetup in San Diego this weekend (weather permitting).

I enjoyed the SF meet myself, although I found the weather to be bone-chilling cold and when the poor Meerkats began to shiver, I felt sorry for them. However, I found all of the people that I met and Thomas, of course, who resembles Steve Irwin, to be very, very nice!
I have one personal observation however, these were a different subspecies of Meerkat than what we see on MM, the ones at the zoo originated from Tanzania and Nambia and they just were not (and this is my own personal feelings mind you) the way too adorable, beautiful and graceful meerkats that I am accustomed to seeing on MM.
They were charming all the same, but didn't pull at my heartstrings... I suppose that I won't be satisfied until I get to the Kalahari itself and see the 'real deal.'
I'd like to ask here, how many people want to go to South Africa? I'm curious because I think there are a lot of contributors here to the board that are going, or planning to go?
Is it so or am I just imagining things? I think that despite the expense, it would be worth it!

WCM, your pix and videos are waayy cute! I especially like the "8 'kat huddle". That's adorable!
2dear...there ARE a number of folks who have talked about going to SA. Some have their trip planned, others are still trying to fund theirs. I'd love to go but for various reasons, mostly health-related, that's just not going to happen. I don't do well in hot weather....guess the Kalahari is definitely NOT the place for me!

Thanks Susy! I aim to please. SD MEETUP WEATHER UPDATE: Thankfully, the weather service (at the link below) has changed the Saturday forecast from "rain" to "partly cloudy", so we're still back on schedule with our 11:30 meetup this Saturday. If someone is late for any reason, we should have a re-visit time at 2:00. Of course, we'll all plan to meet at 11:30, but having an additional time to check-in with each other proved to be very helpful in SF, as I met Mad4Meerkats at the scheduled time of 11:30, but it wasn't until the 2 pm feeding that we found 2dear and MozartFav. Thus, Saturday at 11:30 & 2:00 in front of the large main meerkat exhibit seems reasonable (this is NOT the one by the elephants). FOR SUNDAY @ WAP, I really want to meet Arloaf, but I don't think I can make it in the morning during his visit, so mlaiuppa, assuming you're still planning to attend WAP, it would be great if you could manage the meetup on Sunday morning, and then I could join you guys at WAP by around 1 pm. We'll get phone #s when we meet on Saturday, so we don't need to finalize the Sunday plan completely since we can discuss final details for it on Saturday. What does everything think? Who is all still planning on going to this weekend's meetups and on which days? SD Weather Info Here: http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USCA0982.html

Jensmeerkats; I was able to log in the second time and see the photos. Thanks for sharing them.. As soon as Thomas approach the cats, they where extremely excited! (Knowing they would be getting fed, no doubt) It was interesting the the DF was already well up there in age (11) Thomas said that her last broad of kats was three years ago... West Coast; the video was awesome!! Thanks again for planning the event....I look foward to another "group" meeting perhaps in Oakland or San Jose to see their meerkats... Also, my appologizes to Mad4Meerkats; for confusing you with jensmeerkat...

hey everyone
I am not going to the meet up this weekend now, one of my dogs started walking funny and limping, so I took her to the Vet today. After 200 in Xrays he told me she has arthritis in her lower back, my poor baby. So now I wont have the money to go, but she is much more important. She is going to have to take pain meds for life now :-(
I am hoping we can maybe have a meet up at the Living Desert sometime in Jan. And I still want to go to the SD Zoo maybe around my bday Feb.2nd if anyone else can do that.

SD ZOO & WAP MEETUP UPDATE:I’ve been monitoring the ever-changing weather report, and the latest news (from the weather link above) is they now expect afternoon showers on Saturday and no rain on Sunday. I want to ensure that everyone planning to meet up has the best possible experience, and with the SD Zoo providing a better “meerkat experience” (with 3 kat enclosures) than the WAP, I would like to propose (due to weather) that we flip the ZOO & WAP days, so that we meet on Saturday (tomorrow) at the SD Wild Animal Park and meet Sunday at the SD Zoo. The meetup time for both days would be 11:30 at the (main) meerkat enclosure with a re-visit there at 2:00. We will only make this change if it is convenient for everyone. If there is anyone who objects, then we will continue with our original plan because it would be rude of me to impose this change only 1-day prior to the meetup unless everyone is onboard. We had originally scheduled the SD Zoo for Saturday when Hildy said that she can only do Saturdays. However, she recently emailed me that she’s not sure if she can still go. I have an email out to Hildy asking about this. BENEFITS TO THIS CHANGE: This would help us maximize our SD Zoo experience, ensuring there’s no rain. Also, since my lodging is walking distance from the zoo, I would be in a better position to arrive earlier (11:30 @ zoo) on Sunday to spend the whole time with the group, whereas my arrival would be later if the WAP was on Sunday. The WAP’s Festival of Lights sounds fun. This occurs in the evening, which would be more difficult for me to catch on Sunday. Arloaf, I know you have a Sunday event to attend, so since my lodging is walking distance from the zoo, I’d be in a better position to meet you at the zoo at anytime that’s convenient for you. If you’d prefer to meet in the morning, we can hang out and then join the zoo-group at 11:30. If after 3 pm is better for you, then our group would meet you whenever you arrive. Is this okay? Mlaiuppa, Arloaf, KarloverForeer, Chris969, please reply ASAP about whether this works for you. I’m assuming that you’re everyone who may be going, as I think all the others who expressed interest in attending later said they may not be able to go. Regarding contact info, please visit this link so we can coordinate our meet up. I plan to check this thread until 7am tomorrow (Sat.) to see if this change works okay for you all.

well... the weather report keeps flip-flopping, and now says there's about an equal chance of rain on both days, so I'm willing to go with the flow of however you guys want to meet up. Mlaiuppa & Arloaf, you're the only two who've stated within the last week that you're still intersted in going, so just let me know which parks you'd like to meet at on which days, or if you'd rather postpone due to rain, and I'll gladly go along with it. It works out a little better for me personally to do the WAP tomorrow, but I'll attend either park if it means getting to meet you. Please respond (by 7 am) before I leave LA in the morning, if possible.

I've bought my two passes, one each. They're good until March.
I have a work Christmas Party Sat. night at 6 so I really would rather do the Zoo on Sat so I can attend our staff party.
Sunday works well for the WAP for me because I can stay late for the Holiday lights.
The Zoo closes at 5 pm. The WAP is open until 8 pm for the Holiday Lights.
I'll be at the Zoo at 11:30 at the Meerkat enclosure. It's been a while since I've been to the zoo so I'll get there early to be sure I find it. If feeding time is at 2 pm that leaves plenty of time for lunch and the gift shop. I like the children's zoo and the reptile house as well as the hummingbirds and the aviary.
I'll be at the WAP early on Sunday and be at the meerkat enclosure at 11:30 to meet anyone there. I'll come back to the meerkat enclosure at 2 pm for anyone that didn't make the morning meetup. I'll probably take the train ride and hang around as long as possible as I'd like to stay until dark to see the Holiday lights. It's been over ten years since I've been to either the Zoo or the Wild Animal Park so for $30.00 I'd like to get my money's worth.
BTW parking for the Wild Animal Park is $8.00. Zoo parking is free.

And now for a weather report.
It rained this morning but cleared to overcast/cloudy this afternoon. My parents and I went to Christmas on the Prado (we refuse to call it December Nights) in Balboa park tonight. It was cold, but clear. We had a nice time and picked up some free LED christmas lights at the SDGE light exchange. I only wish I had remembered to bring my incandescents to trade for free compact Fluorescents.
I'm not that concerned about rain on the weekend. It's overcast tonight and it may rain overnight and even in the morning. But I think both parks will be fine in the afternoon.
It's a bit chilly by Kalahari standards but hopefully our meerkats will be out sunning themselves.
And it rains in the Kalahari...doesn't it?

Mlaiuppa, fair enough. I'll meet you tomorrow at the zoo at 11:30. If anything unexpected happens, 2 pm will be our alternate meetup time. We'll meet at the main meerkat exhibit, which is the one shown on the SD Zoo map; not the one by the elephants. I'll be wearing a brown celtic-meerkat design t-shirt and black track jacket with green stripes. No need to discuss Sunday WAP times if we can just talk tomorrow in person. Perhaps we can be in touch by phone if you want to get my contact info here. I look forward to meeting you. Cheers!

Finally!!!!! they let me login. Why is this site so difficult? For the last 2days all Ive been able to do is read about the attempts to organize the meetup and wish I could add my input.
First of all...WCM I'm a her not a "him." My screen name is an unfortunate choice...long story...I think some people have changed their screen names...cant figure out how to do that..anyone know? ..without changing all the other info.
Wouldve liked to swap the SDZ with the WAP days. Just heard the weather report and they expect rain even into Sun. Have visited the WAP during rain and the meerkats were not out.(dont know if its by choice or they are put inside the bldg) Havent been to the zoo for a while so not familiar with the latest meerkat housing. Dont like driving in the rain and trying to get my husband to drive to the zoo. (I can handle the WAP drive) so still dont know if I will get to the zoo Sat. If not I hope we can plan another meetup since so many people wont make it..maybe in Feb.?
Looks like it will be the zoo Sat and WAP Sun. Sun is out for me...the play is from 1-3or so...(12 to 4 including drivng time) By 4 the kats "disappear".

Arloaf, I'm sorry if anything I wrote suggested improper gender; it wasn't intentional. Anyway, I hope you'll be able to make it today. You have a membership, right? Hopefully that'll make it easier on you if rain decides to get in the way. We changed the schedule back to the original because it really wouldn't have been fair of me to mix up the days just 1-day before the meetups if it didn't work for everyone. Looking forward to the meetup. Now I have to leave Pasadena (by 8am), make a pit stop in Long Beach, and then continue to the SD Zoo by 11:30, so now I'm outta here...

San Diego Zoo update.
Met Arloaf, Mr. Arloaf and daughter Arloaf at the meerkat enclosure at 11:30. We stayed until noon then walked over to the children's zoo and went through the entire thing, finally coming to the nursery and then the meerkats at the entrance. (west side near the bromeliads). The nursery was a bonus. Two meerkat pups were in an incubator there. Born Nov. 21 they were removed from the enclosure near the elephants because mom members were threatening them and Mom couldn't defend them. They'll be hand reared and then introduced to the mob at the children's zoo.
There are three meerkat enclosures, one near cat canyon on the north side, one near the elephants slightly west of the main entrance and one just inside the children's zoo entrance. The one in the children's zoo is the most visitor friendly. It's small, but they still have room to move and dig. There are only three meerkats there. Tripod and two younger meerkats that were introduced to her when really young.
Had a very overpriced and unimpressive lunch at the Flamingo Cafe, then headed back to the north meerkat enclosure by Cat Canyon for the 2 pm meetup. West Coast Meerkat was there and Arloaf and Co. joined us.
WCM took me over to see the meerkats by the elephants, then we headed back to the children's zoo to see the pups in the nursery again.
The two pups in the nursery will eventually join the children's zoo enclosure. I had a chance to talk to two of the staff in Balboa Park for Christmas on the Prado (otherwise known as December Nights) who were there with two animal ambassadors (anteater and porcupine) and told them it would be nice if the two pups in the nursery could become animal ambassadors since they are being hand reared. They said this wasn't totally out of the question. I could happen.
The weather was cold by clear. It didn't start to rain until after dark, about 5:30. I imagine it will be the same tomorrow.
We'll be at the Wild Animal Park. I'll be at the meerkat enclosure at 11:30. West Coast Meerkat will be there at 2 pm. Arloaf has another afternoon commitment. If anyone wants to join us, the weather should be fine, but dress warmly and bring an umbrella.

2dear- I think the Meerkats that are at the Living Desert are similar to the ones on MM. A few of them looked like Zaphod in the face, and were very tiny in size. I think the ones at the LA Zoo and SF Zoo are larger Meerkats. Check out my pics, and see if they are the ones you are referring to? I think they are the Suricatta, but not sure? Photo Bucket Link: http://s229.photobucket.com/albums/ee80/littlejlm/Password: meerkats WCM- I love the video and pics. I wish I could have been there to feed the Meerkats too, but SF is too cold for me! Also, thanks for setting up all the Meetups. I think we are all liking the idea of continuing the trend here on the West Coast. Hopefully I will be able to attend the next one. By the way- thank you all for the support regarding my Mom. After a month now, she has finally been downgraded from the ICU to Intermediate Care, and can even talk a liitle now. Luv4flwr- so sorry to hear about your doggie. Just a quick note... I have a rescue dog, and after only having her for 2 months, she slipped a disk in her back, and became paralized in her back and legs. They told me to consider putting her down & she would probably never walk again. Well... 3 months later she was so determined, she began walking again. Now she can run & even jump a little. All she needed was love and support, she did all the rest. I even had to give her the arthritus powder as well. Now she takes no meds at all and is very healthy & runs around. So please hang in there, you never know!

Weather was great at the Wild Animal Park today too. Clear but cold. It was in the low 60s. The meerkats were sunning themselves several times today. Unfortunately missed the zookeeper talk because they didn't post times on the website. By the time I got there at 11:30 it was too late; zookeeper talk was at 10am, first talk of the morning. Really too bad. West Coast Meerkat and friend arrived at 2 pm. We viewed the meerkats some more, then took the train ride tour and watched the animal ambassador game show. Stayed in the park until they turned on the Festival of Lights. Not a drop of rain. Now that it's dark and the temps are dropping it might rain tonight. But all in all a great day.

My videos from the Living Desert Meerkats are now posted!!!! They are on page 2, after my pictures: http://s229.photobucket.com/albums/ee80/littlejlm/Password: meerkats You will see them fighting, hiding, climbing the fences, pacing, and digging (looks like they are trying to escape! ) I also added 1 from the brand new Butterfly exhibit- they are very pretty. WCM- do you know why the videos for yours & mine came out so grainy on photobucket? Can I fix it or reload differently to correct this problem? Cordee & Luv4flwr- the docs explained to me the window for surgery with the disks is very small and costs about $3-$5000 with no guarantees. When it happened to my baby, she was in pain and it broke my heart. A few days later they released her and had little hope, but I did. She had no feeling in her back, hind legs, and no "potty" control as the nerve endings were damaged. I had her in diapers for those 3 months. I could tell that she started to get feeling back in one of her feet & the docs told me I was wrong & it was just wishful thinking. Well, I was right, and they were wrong. Shortly after, she began dragging herself around the house and yard, and then she began trying to stand! I helped her along and before you knew it, she was walking & running. She now has a limp, and not total control over both her "potty" functions. I also have to lift her in/out and onto things, and she is very prone to bladder infections. But, she has a great, happy spirit and is quite healthy!!!! Like I said, it was all her own will to get better. I looked into those wheelchair carts, but didn't need one. I wish you both luck with your babies! Mine's name is "Patience" and well deserved. It seems like we are all animal lovers here on Meerkat Chat, and own pets. Maybe we can post pics of them for each other?

I really don't like the quality of the videos- I am going to try to fix them tonight and repost them.

Jen, Photobucket downsamples all videos to lower resolution. The solution is to create an account instead at www.flickr.com as I think they allow better quality for photos & videos. By the way, I plan to post the photos of last week's SD Meerkat Meetup this weekend. This is a busy week, so it'll have to wait until then. Here's a teaser: Right now, the SD Zoo has 3-wk old pups in their nursery, and their eyes weren't yet open when I took last weekend's photos, so you'll want to check back after the weekend to view what I consider to be the cutest meerkat photos I've ever taken of zoo-kats.

After a busy weekend, I just got a chance to post the photos of the newborns from the San Diego Zoo, whom we got to see at our meerkat meetup a week ago. These 2 pups were born on Nov. 21 and are 2 and a half weeks old in the photos. They are the youngest meerkats I've ever seen in real life. Their eyes were closed, and they normally wouldn't have emerged from the burrow in the wild for another few days... http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t230/West_Coast_Meerkat/12-8-07%20SD%20Zoo/

Oh My Goodness Gracious!!
Jess, those meerpups are just adorable!!! They must have been about 3 inches long or maybe less...tinier than the ones that just emerge on MM, or even in the TCB book...
Were they moving around alot?? Did they vocalize at all that you could tell??
What was the lady in the background holding/feeding???
Next time I'm going, money or not...I'll beg, borrow or steal to go...
L4F, you game??? How about in the springtime, how's about you and I hopping in one of our cars and taking a road trip, we could probably pursuade a couple others to join us...
Peace Love & Meerpups!! Christine

WCM- those pups are tooooooo cute. I wish I had been there. I looked into Flicker, but they only have pics, not video. I'm working on putting them up another way.
Angelkisses- I might be up for a springtime visit too!
