my friend's pup is doing fine now. they found that the heart around the valve had started to crystalize and they had to do a graft. then they had to re-route 2 major arteries for some reason. so it took 3 hours longer than expected. with things being so bad, i'm really glad that his heart started again. he's in pain, but very much improved.
sorry i didn't call you kescha. i am still wiped out. love you sister.
had to go to lawyer's today about ssi and i would probably get it, but since i'm still married (even though he doesn't live here) they might consider his income. so it might be that he controls me for the rest of my life. so how much worse can things get?
my pup has a bad cold now. he's been in bed all day. he won't take the zicam to get rid of it. i swear by that stuff.
so i hope that you all are staying cozy and warm and make it through the blizzard with no damage. supposed to be in the 30's this weekend.

no i havent found a ride yet. im moving back to strongsville,ohio just outside of cleveland and i had to make a choice about my cats im not suppose to bring none.but augustus has been with me for 7 years and tasha 3 years and tasha is not that friendly.im still trying to find a sanc. for them to live their lives out. im not even taking most of my belongings but i have to have my books on haunted houses,ghosts i have a little collection of them. not only my mom&dad arent getting any younger and i need home right now.

Korkie, its good to here from you. Dont worry about the phone call, I was pretty busy yesterday. Glad to hear that Kevins son is ok! I was worried about that, knowing what hed been through. Sorry to hear that about the SSI, I was kind of afraid they would do that, since your still married to him. They would consider his income yours too I suppose. Pups, they never listen do they? Hi Korkie, I hope your situation gets smoothed out. Any time you deal with something official, its a royal pain. How cold is it by you? We have 9 below right now. It was -15 overnight. They promise warmer for tomorrow, but it comes with more snow. Drat.

Carriee, I am sending postive thoughts to you and your mom. I know she will recover. Moms are wise and tough. Give her lots of support.

i'm trying to send paw waves, but frozen paws don't move too well.
about 29 below with -40 wind chill this morning. but we got great relief when it got up to 8 degrees. it's going to be about 30 tomorrow. so kokl, are you sure you don't live in knox county, ill? the car didn't start yesterday, so my pup had to stay home. but it started right up today because of the heat wave.
how's it going for you tasha? i feel so bad for you that you are in the dilemma of saying good-bye to your fur babies and then trying to get home to family. i am really praying that god will intervene and give you something positive. i just wish that i could help.
well, kesha and meergato, mindefect is having another contest but you won't be able to enter. you could, but you would have to be here to claim your prize. they are showing a video on monday and the first 15 who send them an e-mail will get in to a private acoustic concert at an undisclosed place. some of it will be on the next cd. i have a good idea when they will post the video, so i'll probably get in. i can't believe that i'm a 55 year old groupie.
tomorrow i get a new baby. her name is angel and she is part samoyed and white german shepherd. she looks like a polar bear. i'm going to train her to get the phone and help me up. and she will make me feel better being in the house. she is really beautiful. so i'll try to get pics out somehow. but i've been asking god to send me an angel and when i opened this little newspaper that i usually throw away, she jumped right out at me. and her name being angel, i just knew that she had to be mine. sad news though. i have to sell annie and tommie. it's a long story and as you all know, i'm not one to talk much.
well i guess that i better get supper and my hair washed. tomorrow is going to be quite a big day for me.

OOH Korkie, only 8 degrees I so feel for you sister. Hopefully you can at least break freezing soon. A big fluffy puppy like Angel should help keep you warm, I depend on at least 3 out of 5 gatos climbing on me! Sorry about Annie & Tommy. Angel will be a comfort.

Korkie!! I am sorry about Angie and Tommy I know it is hard giving any animal up I had to give my dog up in 2005 so I know what you are going through.... Angel will be there to comfort you....

It has been freezing here right now its 10 here in PA last week was the worst the temp was -10 and the wind chill was -25 man thats is too cold I am glad things are warming up a little bit...

meergato, tomorrow we might just break freezing. we still have 8 inches of snow on the ground.

i made into the private showing of mindefect. but they aren't telling us where it is until 48 hrs. before the show. this is kinda fun. but i sat here for 2 hrs. hitting the refresh button because they had trouble getting the video posted. just love those tekkies!

well, i went into the animal shelter saturday and they brought out angel. and when i saw her, i almost asked if this was the right dog. she didn't look anything like the picture. she was very emaciated and underweight. and she wasn't interested in meeting me at all. then she started going to the bathroom all over the place. come to find out, she is full of worms. and they've had her for over a month now. so you can imagine how upset i was. i was supposed to call back on monday, but i haven't yet. i just don't think that i can get a dog from there. what will i be bringing home to my babies? i felt so bad for that dog. and these people are supposed to care for animals! and by the size of her (or lack thereof) i don't think that she will be strong enough to help me out. so, what do i do? she sure was a beauty though.

i just found out that my aunt died yesterday. she was very old and had a very happy life. but she and her good cooking will really be missed. they were married for 61 years.

Korkie, I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt. Sounds like she was a fun lady & wow, 61 yrs of marriage is a long time. Maybe you can get some of her recipes to cook as a reminder. I'm also sorry to hear about the condition Angel was in - I just don't understand how some animal shelters can be allowed to stay open. Ours had problems for awhile, but the worst was on a local military base. They finally shut it down but I've heard rumors it's back open. Their animals were in real bad condition too.

Hope it gets warmer for you. We're back to the below freezing fog.

Korkie, just wanted to drop in and see how things are going. I am sorry about your aunt, but she was indeed lucky to have a good, long life. I am sorry about Angel, too. That animal shelter evidently didn't take good care of her, but she does sound beautiful. Have you ever considered Labradors? They are highly intelligent and easy to train. Golden Retrievers, too. I heard about a case in which a woman in a wheel chair, who had a Retriever for six months, fell off her chair in an empty field. The dog saved her life by going up to strangers and barking at them. The strangers followed the dog and found the woman. So then, good luck!

i think i have the job its at the airport at a rest. and you have to go threw(?) so much to get the job.my tax refund is going towards my rent. i talk to my landlord an he told me i need to get money comming in. i need to save my babies thats all that matters to me. and on a sad note my friend coreen her dad died tonite.shes the one who lets me use the computer .he died from cancer and i was there for her my problems seem small to hers. take care everyone and god bless.

I thought the Feds were bad but one I applied for had 12 questions & I ended up with 12 sheets more to submit. Ended up with the job with the shortest appl. - Go figure.

Hey Everyone, update from Korkie. Shes been depressed and she has Bells Pasley. Which I know is no fun. She did try to fix herself up so she could go to a private cd session for the band last night. Mind Defect. She called me from there, and I got to talk to all the boys. Kirk, Brian, Wingo and Ryan.
