Ok, so we all have gone a little crazy as of late with this Season 3. Arguments on intervention and Flower and everything else has seperated us as a group. We need to pull together to get through this terrible time!

Lets all get re-aquainted. I shall be first and then you all join in! I feel we all need to be scent marked to reaffirm our family bond.

I am Carlos' Baby's Momma, live in Texas with my 3 pups and DM. I stay home at the burrow and widen entrances, babysit, and groom. I started watching MM in Season 2 and had to catch up with the summer re-runs for Season 1. My favorite meerkat is Mozart and favorite loverboy is, who else, Carlos. My favorite desert treat is scorpions, or as we call it here "pizza"- LOL!

I'm Attila and I'm a younger teenager who is caring, but can be very aggressive. I'm also funny and a little odd, but those who know me really well know that I'm very mature. My intelligence can sometimes get me into trouble. My burrow is in Ohio and my denmates are my mother, my father, my obnoxious brother, my nana, my 3 dogs, my cat, and my parakeet. My favorite treats are pizza, chicken strips, and most forms of junk food. GREENS BEANS AND SOUR CROUT are evil foods. A interesting fact about me is that I don't beleive in evolution.

I live with 2 younger brother and sister and my momma. And we have one dog(he aint mine so I dont know what kind he is)And food, steak, deer and catfish, I could live off that if I had to. I'm kittyglitter, I'm a ladykat in my late 20s, and my home burrow is St. Louis, MO, home of the World Champion St. Louis Cardinals (hey, they are technically still World Champs for another 2 weeks at least!). As you may have guessed, I love baseball, but I love hockey even more. (GGGOOOO BLUUUUESSS!) I live with my 2 roommates, my 2 cats, and my roommate's cat. I love shopping, writing, making beaded jewelry, politics (not telling what side I'm on! ) running, and going out. I also love my job (most of the time!)

I love meerkats, watching meerkats on TV, writing about meerkats, going to the local Zoo to see meerkats, taking pictures of my Zoo meerkats, and annoying my friends, family, and co-workers by talking about meerkats too much.

Hi, I'm cordee. My bolt hole is in Tennessee. I live here with my dm, 2 human pups and 5 canine pups, all spoiled rotten. My job is to help dm run his small business and take care of my family. My family loves to camp and go to the kids sports and band activities. My favorite treats are chocolate and more chocolate. And some more chocolate. I have met some precious kats in this burrow.

Hello, I'am Keschameerkat. My burrow is in Kansas. I live here with my youngest son and husband.I have two older kids, son 28 and a daughter, 25 who have their own burrows now. I'am in my late 40's. I work part time cleaning for older people, and cleaning and repairing pcs. Ibm only. My favorite treats are any kind of Italian food, and of coarse chocolate! Agreeing with Cordee, their are some precious kats in this burrow!

P.S. Forgot to mention my furry burrow mates! We have 3 large dogs, and four kittys, from young to old. Oldest kitty is 17. My oldest dog is 14.

Morning everyone, I'm 43 female and my burrow is in Tennessee. I consider myself semi retired. I love my job. I live with my dm, three cats and two brittany spaniels. All of my fur babys are rescues. I worked with animals for many years, now I work with flowers. I have many hobbies, gardening, swimming, painting reading, music of all types (not country music) imagine that, I live in music city lol! I've watched meerkat manor from day one. Love icecream and snack food! Oh I also have a large koi pond.

Well an interesting fact about me is I am deeply spiritual 43 year old woman scientist who believes in God AND the process of evolution. I don't find them mutually exclusive at all. I know in certain parts of our country, and definetly in the media, the debate has become decisive- "Either or. Pick a side". But the reality is the majority of people of faith in the world are at peace with this issue and see the natural world as a process set into motion by the Divine.

I'm a recently retired court reporter and not missing the 8:00-5:00 routine at all! I have watched MM since Day One, but I'm going to buy all the seasons DVDs anyway. Just received Dr. Clutton-Brock's book from the UK; it is so well written, you can tell he loves his work and all the little 'kats. MaryJane

My denmates are Duke the boxer(a pound puppy) and Max the cat(rescued from a bush at about 4 weeks old).I started watching in the middle of season one and have been hooked ever since.I came to the forum after JE which has fueled an obsession with meerkats.I never knew all this info was out here on the internet. I identify most with Mozart as I ama nurse and feel like I have to take careof everybody. My hobbies are gardening, reading, birdfeeding/watching,playing with my denmates and searching all this info about meerkats. I am a Southern meerkat lover and my burrow is near Birmingham, Alabama. My two pups are grown adults and live in burrows in other states. I am the lone DF in my household without a DM and periodically have to fight for dominance with my furbaby maltese named Bella. It is a tug of war everyday with her and she lets me win sometimes My other furbaby is my laid-back samoya mix "angeldog" named Kristi. (Her full name is Kristi Kringle because I got her from the humane society on Christmas Eve.) I have been intrigued with meerkats for about 20 years now and am always amazed at how their behavior mimics that of us humans. And OH YES, CHOCOLATE ROCKS!

I'm 60 yrs old and live in Springfield, VA, which is just 15 mi. south of Washington, DC. I have 1 adult pup and 3 grandpups. I work for Uncle Sam and just lost my furbaby cat from illness in late July. Now I'm down to 2 fish as pets..but they're not very easy to hug!

I'm a few weeks short of susybear's age and my burrow is in NC with my DM. Our 3 male pups have grown and now have their own burrows in other states. Two of them have two pups each. Living with us now are two male Dachshunds and a Devon Rex and Cornish Rex. That's why I'm Rexcatz.
Until MM came on, I didn't know much about Meerkats. I was a zoo docent, but we didn't have Meerkats. I know a lot of other animals, but not the kats. Timon was pretty much my first Meerkat introduction. I just knew they lived in Africa and stood on their hind legs a lot. We did see them in Busch Gardens a few years later and was surprised at how small they were. Not one stood up while we were there either.
I started watching MM in the second season after a rave review in our newspaper, and then caught up with re-runs. I feel in love with them all right away. I started coming to the boards here after Flower's death.

Susybear, I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. I know how hard it is to lose our furbabies.

You actually LIKE green beans! EWWWW! We both seem to enjoy deer meat though. My favorite part is the back straps! BTW, Mozart, we all have our beleifs. I choose not to beleive in evolution. Although I am a beleiver in small term mutation, like the dog breeds.

Hello: I am Ninjalilly and am the 41 yr old DF of my Mob. I live in Lorton, VA (very close to Springfield and Alexandria)with my DM Husband and two male pups, 13 and 11. I also have two little ferrets, Bobby and Ariel. They are about as close to having a Meerkat for a pet as you can get(legally). I've been hooked on MM since Season 1, 1st episode. My favorite has been Mozart. She is so loving and sweet, but she has suffered a lot. I love them all though, even Hannibal. My favorite treat is Ice cream, especially chocolate, oh, and Key Lime Pie. Love this forum.

I too, am a southerner and a meerkat lover. That's doubly blessed isn't it! My burrow is in Locust Grove, south of Atl. I'm still working but my DF is not; she's just doing housekeeping around burrow and preparing our miilepedes and scorpions. We have two furry "children" living with us; a 15 yr. old Jack Russell Terrier named KInzi and a Sealpont Siamese named Pywacket (named after the character cat in "Bell, Book, and Candle"). We've been watching MM since the beginning, but didn't start coming to AP's website until recent unpleasantness; have been here for an hour or so every day since, however, and except for this aggravating grief, have enjoyed it very much. We intend on going to Atl. Zoo in next week or two to see those famous creatures, the meerkats; and will probably check in on some lesser known animals, too. What are they called? Oh yeah ! Pandas, that's it! Anyway this is a great thread, nice to meet you all! DAve in GA.
