Lovind, my daughter is learning to drive, too! lol It's nerve wracking trying to teach them sometimes, but I do better with her than I do with my son. Melba, it was a hamster. It was vicious and kept biting people hard enough to draw blood. One day, I found that it had killed my other hamster by chewing off its head. My Dad decided that it was just too vicious to be a pet, and decided to destroy it. Euthanization costed too much at the time, so Dad decided to shoot it. I was upset over the other hamster, so I volunteered to pull the trigger and destroy my own hamster. This was very traumatizing for me and I felt very guilty for a long time. I think this happened when I was about 6. I can't really remember.

Dark, I'm very sorry to hear about your Grandma. You have been having what is probably the worst week of your life.I want to send you plenty of hugs and nuzzels. I have lost 2 out of the 3 great grandparents that I knew. I know it can be hard and very sad.

Sorry to hear about that. I know it had to be traumatizing, specially if you pulled the trigger.

I once had a guinea pig named Maverick. I loved it. It ate ALOT of food. My Dad got mad at it for eating the rabbit's food and threw it against a tree. It stumbled off and died the next day.

I wasn't as young as you were but it was something I have never forgotten. And never will.
