Just in the burrow looking at stuff for S4...the kats will be back soon!

Yes, they have about 7 cats that live on premises, and they allow groups to bring cats for adoption. They have also put on little activities for fun, card reading, fortune telling, I don't get into that, but the money goes to the cats and it is all in fun. I guess if I did go in for it, it would be a good place to go to find out my future! They have bake sales and people that make jewelry can bring stuff to sell and part of it goes to the cats. Tell you more later.

I did not 'have to' keep the name, but Mod_Kelly kindly explained that the account would be done anew. I am glad I hesitated changing, after reading what Dmoo said, I think I'll stay with my original name and sign Flotosbea instead of NW67675. I loved the look on Zaphod's face when those birds were squaking, it was priceless. Now I have the 3 Generations and Zaphod! Thanks to everyone for the input! I guess my name was more meerkat than I knew! That episode had not been shown yet, how cool! Tailwraps!

Yes Nine Lives Bookstore is great. They do buy used college texts, but mostly run on donated books. That is where I have bought all but one of my Tolkien books. It is so cool to go in and see what they have. More later.

Kescha, I had a long day yesterday, "quite in the burrow"?!? I guess it was quite quiet. LOL

I have been saving for a while and I am hoping to get to Nine Lives next month. I want to see if they have anything on meerkats. I am trying to save enough to buy MM S123, but I just want to go the the bookstore.

They have a group that brings cats called "Tenth Life", isn't that just the coolest?

Yes, the foraging was nice, had a good lunch, enjoyed being with a friend.

Well, I need to take care of the cast of The Lord of The Rings, they are wanting attention, so what else is new? LOL

I am more than ready for MM to start. We've waited long enough to peek in on Flower's family!

Did y'all see Wild KIngdom last night ? It was about a gang of striped mongooses (or mongeese) in East Africa. They were very much like our kats, their cousins; however, they had to live with some perils that the meerkats didn't have to. Like predation by big cats, like lions and leopards. They also took care of a pup who was blind for a long time after birth; for some reason, his eyes did not open for a long time. The announcer said mongooses , elephants and humans were the only species that put a lot of effort in taking care of injured or handicapped members of their families. It really got me wanting to see MM again!

Hey Dave, I did see that. I love Wild Kingdome. That was interesting. I knew Elephants took care of their injured. I didnt know that about the mongoose! Just proves your never too old to learn something. Hows val and shirley doing?
