Good morning everyone! I am up late despite not having to work tonight, I am still on ER time.
Cody, I was actually surprised at how quickly the procedure at the dentist went. You know all of that dental jargon, I had a "pin composite build up" on #30. I figured that I would be there forever, but it only took about an hour. I'm not saying that I love the dentist now, but it was much "nicer" than I expected and thankfully no pain after the novacaine wore off!
'Morning, All! Brrrrr....it's mighty cold here in the No. Va. burrow...about 20 with a slight wind, making the wind chill around 9. Glad I don't have to go out until much later.
I see that the Ohio Valley burrowmates had another 15 inches of snow and the GA, AL and FL folks are cold this am, too. Stay warm everyone. Hope the cold doesn't damage the citrus crop too much.
Good morning everyone! Well, its below zero in my area! I had a very hard time getting out of bed and my little meerdog had to be carried to the door, she didn't want to go out at all! And she just has to go to the garage on the paper!

It's been cold here! 7 this morning, brrr! Melba, I agree, too, better than the horrid heat and humidity! I love winter. The kids helped get the decorations off the tree and put everything up except for the snowmen and snowflake stuff. I like to leave it out all winter. It was a little sad seeing the tree go, but good to have the house back in order.
Cody, hugs, sister, hope your memories of your grandmother will be comfort to you. After my daughter and son were born, I came to realize the love and sacrifice that my parents had put into raising me. I wrote a thank you letter to my momma, but my daddy had passed several years before. A friend told me to write the thank you letter to Daddy just as if I were going to give it to him and then take it to his gravesite and light it on fire. As it burned the ash and smoke went upward and it was like I sent it to him. It was very healing for me. Maybe something like that would help you say goodbye, just a thought.

Good almost evening! I couldn't log in today until now! It's fah-reezing here in NY. 13 degrees but w/the wind chill it feels like -3! Hope everyone has stayed warm today. Gotta lot of work but I just wanted to say hi. The Cheyenne Mountain kats have been out all day in the snow. The cam is only on until 5 pm if anyone is interested in the little chubbies! They're so cute!

It's cold again here in the VA burrow, only 14 degrees this morning. High today should be around 43 so it will moderate somewhat. By Monday, they are predicting 60 degrees for highs...a veritable heat wave!
I'm not looking forward to going back to work on Monday after a week off...I'm sure things have been piling up.

Well today my pup and I are on a rescue mission. One of our she mice(Flower the mouse to be exact)made a great escape yesterday from her home.
I got up briefly this morning after a long night of being worried about Flower the mouse, and tryed logging in.As I was doing so I heard the crinkle of paper(my pup put it down just for that reason)from under his desk(his desk is next to mine),and saw our excapee when I looked to see if it was indeed her making the noise.
I got my pup up to help me capture her,but alas,she eluded us,too our saddness.
So today we will attempt to capture her and bring her home to her awaiting,worried sister mouse Velvet.
