aawww, that's gotta suck. I know things are not good in alot of places. I guess prayers are needed everywhere for people who are having this misfortune. The economy is not good. I couldn't imagine. I've worked here for 22 years and would really not know what to do if I were to be laid off. You really got to feel for these people. My heart breaks for these people.

Good Morning Burrowmates!

It is very cold here today..another day of negative degress out side.Its-34 wind chill at the moment and the days high will be -1.We have all the spare blankets out and are keeping our furbabies close for snuggling.

I just want to Thank everyone for making my pup feel welcomed here!
I was proud and happy when he desided to join as a member of AP and the meerkat list.
He is an animal lover through and through and has great compassion for animal in destress.
Maybe he will be a vet someday:}!
I am truly touched that he feels so very welcomed and that he has found a home here in the burrow!!!

Good Morning all thank you for the welcomes. As my mom said it is very cold here I plan to spend time in the burrow staying nice and warm.

This is just a little fun story i wanted to make for everyone. enjoy

Today well I was scavenging for food I saw a item it looked like it was a yellow and purple and a hint of green thing. I wanted to go see what it was but i said no i think ill just keep scavenging for food. So on my way back I saw a rolling bush, well I dropped all the food and chased after it only to have remembered I had food scavenging duty so I ran back to the food and finally got it home.

Good evening all, been a busy day! Started out raining and windy, ended warm, light breeze and the most glorious sunny day you could ask for. Just one of those rare sandhills warm winter days; I laid on the deck like a meerkat sunning itself, warm sun on my tummy. But the best part is when I peeked at the meerdogs, they were lying on their backs, tummies to the sun too!

Kescha, Melba, Cordee, spent the rest of the day doing some fun and interesting reading on the things y'all recommended. And am still laughing!!!

Hildy, hope that gift from the school works out for you, you deserve it!

Good morning, burrowmates!

Can't believe I'm first in this morning. lol Will commence burrow maintenance.
I have noticed this am that our burrowmates that were mia after the Oct. trouble have started to trickle back in. It's so good to see bumpy40, now bumpy41, lynnlopez, hivolt, etc. posting again. Made me smile. It's also good to see new faces posting in the burrow, White Wolf, Terryanne, etc. Welcome. If you love animals, esp. meerkats, and love people, you will find this a very nice place to be.
