Well yesterday I did clean my bathroom all of it!!!! Fiouuuuuu it was a big challenge... Lucky my bathroom is small hahahaha...
Oh!!! When hubby had friends yesterday at home he said to his friends ''guy's if you go to the bathroom sit down plz'' hahahahaha that was cute!!!! Just imagine why he said that!!! It was terrible to clean the toilet Yack!!!! So this morning I check to see if everything is still clean... Yessssssss!!! woooohoooo its still clean hihihihi but for how long???? hummmm good question!!!!

Today I think I will relaxe tomorrow I will go problably see my mom... Being a while since I had news from her... Hope everything is fine... So problably tomorrow I will not be coming here!!!!

Evening all! Another wonderful day in Potch. Was extremely productive on work front. Going to Pretoria for the weekend to visit some friends, and maybe catching a good movie. Unfortunately we way behind in movies than overseas, hopefully there is something worthwhile to see.

I can see meerkats from our family farm in the Free State, definitely not in Potch! The environment here in Potch is not fit for meerkats since they need open spaces and not to long grass to eye predators. Here is some groups of them on nearby farms, but not as many you observe in the kalahari. Wish there were more of them here, but oh well. Luckily we have other interesting animals like ground squirrals and yellow mongooses.

Dave and Imas: How about that Survivor tonight! That was one of the most exciting episodes. My opinion of Cirie and Parvati just went up a few notches, smart playing there. Of course I really liked Ozzy, but a good blindside is always fun!

Hey Imas, it's okay, she managed to learn to speak english!! Come on there has to be at least one more Top Model fan! I like to watch it while doing something that I know would drive a top model to throw her cellphone, like eat! Just joking

Spark, I envy you too, watching meerkats at home would be the greatest. But I have lots of squirrels, possums, racoons and other small critters here. We even have a black squirrel, with a white spot on their tails! They get pretty big too.

squirrelly, That was a good Survivor last night; I was pulling for Ozzie to win it all until he showed his true colors last night. When they all lied to Jason about voting him off, after he gave up a shot at personal immunity to give them some food, Ozzie said that was the way you're supposed to play the game; Outwit, Outlast, Outplay! But, when they blindsided him, he got mad and said he hated whoever did it! If you play without honor, don't get mad when other people do the same thing.

The Braves looked good last night.

Hildy, Hope we can get together in late June, early July. I hope my stepdaughter can come with us; she's a teacher, also. She teaches English to foreign students; she teaches them English even though she can't speak their language. I have no idea how you would do that.

Well what a weird day yesterday ouf...
I was supposed to go see my mom and my plan change hihihihi yup that is the story of my life hahahahahaha!!!
Hubby call me when I was driving and said that we are having a special guess at home (yesterday)... It was the birthday of one of is friend and he didn,t want him to be alone on his birthday!!!!
So I went shopping, buy stuff to do a Lasagna and a cake what is a birthday without a cake lol... So I didn,t went to see my mom snifff... Maybe this weekend I will or Monday.... I really need to see my mom... Miss her...
So yesterday I was running like a meerkat to do everything for the dinner.... It went well he was happy to have special candels on his birthday cake hihihi they were candles that have different colours.... Was nice and special... The guy turned 43 and I was thinking that nobody should be alone on his birthday!!!!! he was really happy

What a day!!!
Today I'm relaxing lollllll and will do some clean up grrrrrr again lollll

Good afternoon to all!

Still keeping busy here with work, school and animals. Barely any time to look up from my books and when I do it's to take care of my babies. Only four weeks left!!!!

It seems when it rains it pours lately. Buddy is doing very well. His last shot was only 50% dosage so no potassium problems!!! However our other beagle, Daisy, had to have minor surgery to remova a growth from her elbow. It was probably bengign but she scratched at it so much that she caused bleeding. Will get the pathology report in a few days. Still no word on Bears lab test. That could be as late as next week. Then probably surgery for him. Brutus is doing well. Panda is learning so much from him. He was such a needed addition to my ferret family. Oh, my DM's truck caught on fire last weekend. It was parked in the driveway and he didn't even know about it until the fireman knocked on the door to tell him the fire was out. No injuries, but a lot of damage. And it still smells bad. Luckily we have good insurance. All of this and school too. Plus work. That is why I have not been around much and probaly won't be until school ends.
I hope all is going well for you all.

Imas-I am sorry to hear that things are going so badly for your DM. I will definately keep him in my prayers.

Shocat-how is Chelsey doing?" Her next appt is the 25th right? What will they be checking for?

As for the English teacher in your family...well we just point to things, and say them Very Slowly in English Actually...there are tons of programs written, including the Rosetta Stone that helps us EO's, or English Only speakers!

It's a beautiful sunny day here now, but they're calling for thunderstorms tonight. If it's nice tomorrow the DM and I are going kayaking, but not if it's rainy and yucky.

A few days ago a couple drops of water got on my TCB Flower book and made a little hole in the cover photo Boy was I upset about that....it's such a beautiful book.
Oh well, compared to what a lot of you are going through if that's the worst thing to happen this week then I'm doing fine

Back to my Saturday routine, meaning I've spent the day luxuriating in bed, paper, coffee, doggies, peace and quiet ... ommmmthisissowonderfulmmmmmm!

And I have a weekend visitor! Betcha can guess what kind of visitor he is - I'll give you a hint: His name is ... Bull Dog And he's the Jerry Lewis of dogs, a lovable sweet gentle clown that has had me laughing all day.

I guess we are supposed to get some rain here too. But the sandhills are beautiful because of it, the flowers are spectactular this year. And we so need the rain - the lakes and reservoirs are finally filling back up and some of the water restrictions are being lifted.

Well, I'm off to forage, and yes Imas, I ate a big fat brownie while watching Top Model

Well, it was cold and rainy today so no kayaking Oh well, there's always next weekend. At least now with my job I'll be working alot less weekends because they hired some more people.....YEAH!

Dmoo you cracked me up with that "ate a brownie while watching Top Model!" Most of those models could use a few brownies too.

Today was the U.S. Oylmpic Trials Marathon for women in Boston. It was an exciting race, I was watching it live on the internet. It was kind of bittersweet to be watching it at home instead of being a participant. I qualified for the trials in '92, '96, and 2000 but now I'm older and slower and didn't make the qualifying time.

Cody, I left a hint on the Daily Meerkat Question. You should be able to get it now. In case anyone hasn't seen it, this is a thread on the Mix Board where one person asks a question about meerkats and the first person to get it right posts the next question.

Good morning burrowmates! Hope you are all safe and well after the weekend. Titus, I'm of the Garfield School of thought on Mondays, too! Bull Dog has gone home, but he was a perfect guest! We had so much fun. He managed to pull the stuffing out of enough toys to make it look like a cotton gin threw up in my living room!! The only one he didn't attack was a toy chi wa wa that talks when you squeeze it. He happily took it home with him, looking like he had found a new best friend. He'll be back, my neighbor deploys quite often for short periods of time, so I told him I'll help him out - kennels get too expensive. Maybe that will be what I do after I retire, dogsitter!!

We got some good news (kind of) today. Bears bloodwork came back almost normal. I don't know what that means yet, exactly. He has to go in tomorrow for more bloodwork. At least there doesn't appaer to be adrenal gland disease. For that I am grateful. Now we just need to find out if there is something else going on. Hopefully we will get lucky on this one. Buddy goes in on Thursday for his next blood test. His first one in twelve days!!!!!His fur is finally starting to grow back from all the IV's placed early in his illness. Poor guy has shaved spots on all of his legs and the backs of two of his feet.

Well I am off to work on my Adolescent Psychology term paper. Four more weeks!!!!
