Good evening burrowmates!
Titus, that's such a wonderful story with the osprey. How fortunate that a wildlife rescuer was there to help.

Dave, Imas, and Noodlenoo: Yeah I was a bit disappointed that Parvati won. Of the final 4, the order I was hoping for was Amanda, Cirie, Parvati, then Natalie last. Noodlenoo I think Parvati would be the "Dizzy Daisy" of the kalahari!

Meerkatsoul always good to hear from you.

My Pittsburgh Penguins are still going strong!!!

Hello everyone!!!

I hope you all remember me! I am finally able to escape from the school burrow! My last big final was today and for the most part all has gone well. I have one more test to take but I am not worried about that one at all. I think I have A's in all of my classes. I am a little worried about keeping my A in my psychology class because I didn't do well on the final, but I did all of the extra credit so I should be ok.
I haven't been able to keep up with everything that has been happening in the burrow but I will get caught up soon.
Imas-I hope all continues to go well with the DM's medical issues.
Shocat-How is Chelsey doing these days?

I hope you all have a great day!!!

P.S. I almost forgot. You all remember the beast? Well he's about six months old now and he looks just like Zaphod! Weird, I know, but it's true. It is kind of sad though because right now he is the perfect companion for my lttle Panda. They are the same physically and mentally. She has so much fun with him and I feel bad for her because he is going to grow up and she isn't. I just hope she doesn't feel too left behind. Poor little girl.

Morning everyone! Still raining here. Wish I could send some of this rain out to Fla. and other places that need it. We've been having an unusual cold spell for this time of year. It usually gets warmer during the day, at least. Its supposed to get up to 64 today!

Cody, good to see you again! Hope your ferrets are doing good!

Everyone have a great day!

Good morning everyone. First off, I'd like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. You all are so sweet.

Well, the fires down south of me have claimed something like 162 homes. They believe that the fire was set by an arsonist. Just how cruel can some people be. Unbelievable. Sometimes you just have to wonder what is up with the human race. How sick!

cody, so glad that your beast is happy, but may I ask why it is that Panda will not grow with him? Did I miss something? I apologize if I did. I'm not too ferrett knowlegable. So cool that he looks like Zaphod. That's awesome.

Imas, my featherbabies are doing good.

To all of you, have a great day today.

Good Morning Burrowmates. Absentfriends, That is pretty cool. We are yo yoing here. Yesterday it was 85, today the high is 65.

Cody, its good to see you! How is Buddy doing? That is pretty cool that your little Bear looks like Zaphod! Does your little Panda have a mental problem, where she wont grow up like the other ones?

Morning Titus, I will never understand why people start fires. That is 162 people without homes. It is sick. I hope you have a good day sis.

Imas, its good that you love your job. Are you working with Flowers and Plants? I think I remember you saying something like that. I could be wrong! I would love to own and run a green house. Out side of working with animals, that would be a dream job.

I hope everyone in the burrow has a good day today!

Good morning, everybody!! Happy Hump Day!
Titus, I can't say what I feel should be done to the horrible people that intentionally start these fires. Hope today is a good one for you.

Cody, good to see you back. WooHoo all A's!! That's great, congrats! I love reading about your fur babies.

Hi, Jereg!!! The weather looked like it was raining in your area of the burrow earlier, looks like we're gonna get it later. I love that big grinning emoticon, he looks mischievous. Wink

Imas, three weeks with no day off??!! Wow, lady, you bust your butt, don't you! It would be cool working with flowers. Roses especially, and lilacs. Glad your dm is doing ok, hope the other tests bring good news.

Hi, Kesch, Dmoo, Squirrelly, Absentfriends, Dave, Natalka, everybody, sending you all hugs and love

Imas,

I told you wrong; go to cbs.com and then find the window for Survivor-Ponderosa. It shows where the members of the jury go after they are voted off(and it's not purgatory), and it's pretty neat.

A.I. fans, it looks like Simon wants David Cobb to win it all; I hope it's David Archuleta.

Gotta-go

Good morning!

Kescha and titus- Yes, my poor Panda suffered brain damage after spiking a high fever when she was five months old. She had a severe allergic reaction to her distemper vaccine and was left with mental retardation. She is the same, mentally, now as she was then. A perpetual baby ferret. She does not do most of the things adult ferrets do. She can't even live with the other ferrets because she can't manage the ramps in their cage. I had to get her a cage custom made for her special needs. Panda is a year and a half old and it wasn't until we got the beast that she finally learned how to play with other ferrets. She has learned a few things from him, such as playing and how to climb into the hanging bed that has been in her cage for a year. He has been so good for her. That's why it is sad that he may grow up and leave her behind. Panda is a very sweet, special girl and she did not deserve to have this happen to her. It could have been worse though. Her reaction was serious enough that it could have killed her. She was in intensive care for three days.

I hope you all have a wonderful day! I will get caught up on everything I missed later today. Must work now.

Welcome to the burrow Rogerls20 Smile
Cody, so sad to learn about Panda. At least she has The Beast to make her happy for awhile, and who knows maybe he won't outgrow his friendship with her. Congrats on all the A's, way to go!

Today both my DM and I had the day off. We went to the Youghiogheny River Bike Trail to run, then went kayaking afterwards. The river was a bit higher and faster moving because of all the rain we've got this week. It took us 2 hours to paddle upstream 3 miles, but only 40 minutes to paddle back downstream!

Dave,
I'll have to check out the Survivor Ponderosa. I saw it advertised but never got around to checking it out, thanks for the reminder.

Good Morning Burrowmates.

Welcome Rogerls20, lot of nice kats in here, hope to see you around more often.

cody, I'm so sorry about Panda, I got teary eyed when I read that. So sad, but on the bright side, she has an excellent mother. You are the bomb girl. Hopefully the beast will stay with her. Congrats on the A's.

Morning Dave. How is Shirley and the furbabies doing. I think I forgot to mention the Shirley was my mothers name. How cool.

Imas, I have freckles back with me again. Looks like she's here to stay. All my other featherbabies say hello. I'm glad to hear that your DM is doing better.

cordee, I know what you're thinking about the "firestarters"...ME TOO.

Hello jereg, hope you had a good evening

squirrellygirly, that sounds like alot of fun. My dad lives on a canal now, so I was thinking in investing in a canoe.

Morning kescha, dmoo, hildy, absentfriends, ya'll have a good day. Hugs.

Morning everyone! Cody, missed that about your poor little fuzzy. One of mine had a bad reaction to a vaccine, as well. Fortunately, she came out ok. I'm so sorry about poor little Panda. It will be very difficult for her to not live with the others. I hope the Beast will stay with her so she has another ferret to cuddle with when she sleeps. That's so important to them. On the other hand, when the others start getting too old (not for a long time, of course) to manage their cage, they may be better with her in her cage. My cages kept getting smaller in last couple years because my two were just getting too old to manage all the ramps. Poor little baby.

Well, its supposed to be up in the 60's today but, at least, no rain! All the tulips are in bloom, the trees are blooming and the grass is green! I love this time of year!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Burromates, Cody, good to see you. That is so sad about your little Panda. She has a great mama, and a wonderful home! Also, forgot to say, congrats on the As!

Absentfriends, this is a pretty time of year.

Titus, I'am sure Freckles is happier with you sis!

Imas, I bet it is great working with flowers.

Jereg, just rain here too. No storms, which is awesome.

Morning Dave! Welcome to the Burrow Rogerls20!

Cordee, Tonight is Devons Pop Concert, one my favs. They sing alot of songs from the 60's. Like Down on the Boardwalk. The 60's music reminds me of being on the Pacific ocean in my Dads boat. Good times.

Dmoo, Melba, Hildy, Squirellygirly, Natalaka, Nightweaver, Meerkatsoul, Shocat, everyone, have a great day!

Good afternoon, burrowmates!!! Smile
Hi, Rogerls20! It's great here, the kats are really nice and lots of fun. Welcome!

Kesch, Devon's concert sounds like it will be alot of fun, tell him to knock em dead!! Hope you all have a great time! It must have been great growing up in Cal. there at the Pacific. There is no more serene place than the ocean, unless it's the mountains!

Cody, little Panda sounds like sweetheart. Is there any chance that she will be able to learn enough from the Beast(love that) that they will be able to stay together when he is older?

Jereg, we didn't get any storms, just some rain. We desperately need the rain, though, so it's good. Hope you are having a great day!

Titus, it's great that Freckles is back. Was everybody glad to see her again? Hope the fires are under control, haven't heard anything today about it.

Hugs and hello, Dmoo, Shocat, Absentfriends, Imas, Squirrelly, Dave, Meerkatsoul, Hildy, Natalka, everybody! If I missed someone, it was not on purpose, I love all my burrowmates!

Dmoo, how funny, we posted at almost the same time!!
Softball ended up having travel ball practice until after dark, so we didn't get to stay home after all! Then the crazy child called and said her brother didn't make it to the bus in time, so we try calling him and calling him. Of course his phone battery was dead. So hubby runs all over creation trying to find him, then at the bus stop, softball gets off the bus WITH her brother! She said she didn't see him! Caused all the commotion for nothing! She's a peach!!! Love you, sister!!
