Still sick. I really think it is the weather change. We went from 107 on Monday down to the upper 70's with high winds overnight. Today another windy day. We are supposed to get storms later this week. I am so ready for these winds to be gone.

Wilson-just think-you get the whole summer off. I have SUMMER SCHOOL!!!

Well we have had a bit of weather in so.cal...tonadoes...and hail..and lots of rain..I let kescha know I was okay..after golf size hailstones dented my car...on my way home from work.You all are used to it..we are not!!

We had 7 tornadoes touch down..in Riverside county..and kesche said..dang..you do not have a basement...I said no..I will crawl in fake fireplace!!!!

All is well now..I called my dad..where the storm was heading, and told him to hide!

Hello, Everyone!!!

Good Morning and Good Day to All.

It has been a long time since I seriously posted, and I am back. For those of you who do not know, my father was ill since January and passed in mid-April. It has been a difficult time for me.

But I missed you all VERY much and would lurk around the boards. Now time to get back to everything "normal."

We have a meerkat movie to see this weekend and I am sooo excited. And we have a new season about to start. What could be better.

Melba: I'm SO sorry about your Dad. Lost mine about 5 years ago from cancer. It was hideous, but thankfully rather quick. I still miss him terribly. Hugs and kisses to you sister. Good to see you back!

Cody: Sorry you're still under the weather. Make sure you get plenty of sleep and fluids!

Hildy: Stay safe! I live in the Midwest, so I'm used to tornadoes. They can be horribly devastating.

Morning Absentfriends, we are used to tornadoes too, but we have a basement. Had some tornadoes last night, and large hail again. We have been lucky, no tornadoes in my town. The lightning was very wicked though. Slept with my stormy girl.

It's Meerkat Manor Movie Eve, everyone!! Just have to get through today and tomorrow evening we will all finally see what we have been waiting for so long - WOO HOO!!

Supposed to rain here today, and cool down some. I hope no one was affected by the terrible storms last night - Kescha, are you still in the basement??

How many of us are planning online parties to celebrate tomorrow night? What is everyone's plan? I will come here after the movie, but be really careful not to put any spoilers here - wonder if I can get an emoticon that dances here? I have my puffs+, treats for both me and the furbabies - BTW I have my furnephew with me this weekend, Bull Dog is back!♥♥♥

I'm getting all packed for my trip to Buffalo N.Y. for the marathon tomorrow. I always get a little nervous the few days before, worry about something weird happening like tripping or pulling a muscle.
Unfortuantely because I'll be away, I won't be able to celebrate here in the burrow on Sunday after the movie. I'll make up for it when I get home!
