I hope all saw the movie and enjoyed it as much as I did. And the part at the end about Shakes? What a teaser!!

I have always recieved so much kindness and support from all burrowmates, so I feel a bit sheepish to ask for this favor - I don't do this to milk any situation, but I know how much the positive energy from you all has made a difference to many of us...So, if you feel like you would, at 3:00 your local time, when you take a minute to remember our veterans today, would you mind adding my friends and comrades in arms of the 503d Maintenance Company, 1st Theater Support Command, who are deployed to Iraq, and the 94P HIMARS teams I have deployed to Afghanistan? These are some of the finest soldiers I have known. I have passed on many of the comments of appreciation you all have expressed to me, and they in turn appreciate knowing they have your support, regardless of political view. It truly does mean alot to them. And to me. Thank you all.

Now, let's get those BBQ grills going!

dmoo, I live close to the Smyrna Air Port/Sewert Air Force Base, I see many of your comrads on their way home or being deployed to and from Iraq, I will most defently remember them at 3. Thank you for all you do.

Dmoo, thank you and thank you to all who have served or are serving our fine country. At 3 I will remember the fine men and women you mentioned.

We were on the ball field last night until late and I missed the movie, . Please somebody tell me that it will be on again sometime. On the postive side, softballmeerkat's team won the championship and out of the 6 games they played this weekend, she got the MVP award in 3 of them.

Dave, hope you are feeling better and you all had a good trip. Don't work too hard.

Natalka, good to see you sissy! They do not show Mozart in the movie. They mention her and Flowers other pups at the end. I understand they do not have film footage of Flower, before season one. Just the researchers documentation. So we will have to watch season one and two again, to see Mozart. Hugs Sissy!

Natalka, that's so sad that you can't watch the movie where you live. It must be driving you nuts to see everyone posting about it and not be able to know.

The marathon in Buffalo started on Pearl street then goes thru Lasalle Park and the Lakefront Marina, goes out to Tift Farm, back up to town on Franklin st, around Delaware Park, and finishes on Franklin by the Convention Center (that was a condensed description!)
This was the DM and my 6th trip up to Buffalo, we really like this race.
Are you in touch with Runs26.2? I remember she used to post here last year but I haven't seen her in ages. If you see her tell her Squirrelly says hello

The marathon went okay for me, but not great. I was close to the same time as I ran last year, I was hoping to improve by a minute. Oh well. My Mom ran the Half Marathon race and did really well. She's 68 years old and did 13.1 miles in 2 hours and 29 minutes. I'm so proud of her

Goodness SQ, just running a marathon is enough to impress me! And congrats to your mom, way to go!

I've had cable issues over the weekend and couldn't get on. Dmoo: Sorry I didn't get to remember your comrades, specifically. I did, however, remember you and my cousins at the VFW Memorial Day program. They had a beautiful memorial this year. The drive going into the Village Hall was lined with flags, they had an area set up like Arlington with an Honor Guard, it was VERY nice. They did all new landscaping this year around the VFW memorial.

I loved the movie. Poor little Petal. Of course, that wasn't really Petal, but how sad. Poor baby. Hmmm.....are they going to do one Shakespeare?? I hope so!

Just me stoping in to say hi and good morning. I missed the movie and now i think i'll just wait till it's out on dvd. Well have a good day everybody.
