Sorry for getting so sentimental but I just had to share what I am feeling right now.

So many of you have said such kind things to me regarding my Panda and the care that she receives in my home. The more that I think about it, the more I realize that it is I, not Panda, who is the lucky one.
All of my furbabies are treasured and loved, but some of them, a few ferrets in particular, are daily reminders of some very important things in life.
First there is my Baby Girl, my Panda, who despite all she has gone though retains an inherent goodness and sweetness that reminds me on a daily basis of the kind of person I strive to be. I fear I will never live up to the example set by this tiny, two pound creature.
Then there is Coco, my party girl, who reminds me to play every day. She gets such joy out of life and reminds me to do the same.
My Punky, such a little boy. He never wants to miss anything, always looking for adventure. He reminds me that life is about living and not to get too caught up in the "work" of life that I miss out on all of the fun. I guess he is the "Squirrellygirly" of the ferret room.
Finally there is my precious Cody, the self appointed DF of the big cage. She takes her self imposed responsibilities very seriously, taking care of whoever may need her. I can tell what is happening with all of the others just by watching Cody. She reminds me that we are all here to care for each other and to take care of those closest to me.
So you can see that it is truely I who is blessed to have these tiny creatures in my life, not them to have me in theirs.
