Ok so...here we go. Me in a nutshell. My name is Nicole and I just celebrated my 29th birthday. I'm happily married and live with my husband in Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. I am a proud army wife. My mom was diagnosed with a rare form of heart cancer this past summer but she is improving and we remain hopeful! I love all animals and usually avoid killing anything...even bugs. I have 2 cats (cairo and draco) who are incredibly spoiled. I'm athletic and I LOVE the outdoors! Camping, hiking, rafting, fishing, horse back riding, I'm also a girlie girl who likes make-up, nail polish and nice clothes, LOL!! I miss my southern thunderstorms and look forward to returning to the "lower 48" in a few years! I was born in Missouri, lived in Texas for 7 years and Indiana for 4. I love to travel. I have been to college and need to fininsh! I am a photographer and I love my work! I am a vegetarian and I like to grow my own veggies in the near 24 hours of daylight we have here in alaska! I'm also a huge Josh Hartnett fan! My favorite meerkats are YoYo, Flower, Maybelline and Mozart. I joined this forum back in Feb. of last year and did so because I love the show!

I'm back after a long hiatus... I'm a 14-yr old freshman girl, in Oregon. I have type 1 diabetes, and had it since I was 6. I love reading, drawing, and writing (mostly fanfictions, but I want to be an author). Some of my fave books are the Twilight Series (by Stephenie Meyer), the Warriors series (by Erin Hunter), Harry Potter, and the Maximum Ride series (by James Patterson). I am an internet addict, and cannot seem to get enough of it. I'm a quiet person, although I do talk a lot once I feel at home. I am a good student, straight As all my life. I listen to my iPod a lot, and my favorite artists are Evanescence and Avril Lavigne. I love animals of all kind (except spiders, they freak me out!), especially meerkats!
I've been a member here since May, but stopped going here for a while. I'm back though! I'm also on neopets, gaiaonline, and deviantart to any of you who go there.
I joined here mostly so I could talk about the show, since apparently none of my friends like it (my mom's not a big fan of it either, and my dad likes to see that I like the show). I like seeing how many of you are also into Meerkat Manor, and love talking bout it!
I like to write a lot, as you can see... always making a conversation into a story!

Hi everyone. I joined in '06 because I fell in love w/meerkats. I'm 47, a graphic designer also like lolababy. Live in Long Island have a great DM and 2 furbaby rabbits which were both adopted from a rabbit rescue group. My first bunny Paige died in Feb. right at the same time the news about Flower broke. I was doubly devastated. I'm also a fitness instructor nights & weekends. Been doing it 20 yrs now. I've been away from this burrow for a while but now I'm back. I enjoy chatting w/everyone here!

I don't think my Great Grandmother was a very good speller) I am 56yrs old. Still new to the burrow. I live on the west coast in Sacramento California. I live with my DM, Figaro, my 13yrs old cat. I love to go to the movies and each one of the room in my house is done in movie themes, Harry Potter, Disney, Sci-Fi, Pirates of the Caribbean and of course Meerkat Manor.
My old Tiger cat died last year. She was 17yrs old. She was my girlfriend. I still miss her. When Flower died it was like I lost Tiger again. I join the forum so I could talk to people who felt the same way I did. This is a warm and cozy place. We all love our Meerkats and no one laughs or judges us for our love of these wonderful animals.

Hi all-

I started reading this site after Flower died. I finally joined and I am so glad I did.
I live in Las Vegas with my DM and our 10 furkids. We have three dogs, two Beagles, Buddy and Daisy and one daschound, Sampson. I also have seven ferrets, Panda, Punky, Coco, Cody (where my name comes from, she's my dominant ferret)Ben, Bear and Charlie. I also have two horses, but I am not zoned for horses so they are boarded. My husband also keeps tropical fish, puffers mostly.
I am currently working on completing my bachelors degree in dental hygiene. The school I went to only offered a two year degree.
I am also on the board of directors of a nonprofit group geared toward educating young people about the dangers of drugs and alcohol abuse. Our major activity every year is a week long educational(but fun) camp. It's the highlight of the year for me. As you can see I am very busy and don't get much time to watch TV. When I do it is usually Big Love or of course Meerkat Manor.
I do love books, all kinds, and find time to read every day, but mostly my life is consumed by the animals. I love them to death.
I first started watching Meerkat Manor in season one because they did remind me so much of my ferrets. Then I saw how special they are in their own right. My favorites are Carlos (JD), Hannibal (Jim Bob) and Flower, of course.
