Hey again, With all the new threads popping up, I'm glad you guys still find time to stop here and say hi. I mostly check out "read about MM here" thread now. Once in a while I'll check the tribute threads. It is still VERY sad to me. Not just Flower gone but with Zaphod on his own as well. At least I know you guys are behind me on that one. Hey Meerkatmike, thanks. I know what you mean. I read Athenas thread. She went to the kalahari. She stated that they tried to save Flower, and that made me cry all over again. You should read her thread sometime if you haven't already. Bless you too!
Keschameerkat, everyone on this board should read athena's posts. I had never "met" her on here, but after reading her posts I feel like I know her. She posts with such love and patience for all our begging calls. And the info she gives us has made me feel better about Flower's death. Bless that lady!

Hi Guys, Off to work here. Just wanted to say that I have read Athena's posts. AMAZING. The trip of a lifetime. I'm thankful she took the time to answer all of those questions. Sounds like they pretty tight lipped on some things though. Anyway, it made me feel MUCH better knowing they did everything they could for Flower (and probably broke some of their own rules as well). Hey Attila, I like AX also, and the Hork-Bajir. What is your favorite book your looking for. I might be able to find it for you, and send it your way somehow. We have a great used book store where people trade in all kinds of books for other books. I think a meerkat would be a great costume, if you could find one, or make one!
I don't think there's anyway you could send it to me. Besides, I can always borrow it from the library! LOL! For right now I'm just on the lookout for it whenever I go to Goodwill. It Animorphs #29, The Sickness. Its my fave from the Animorphs series! Thanks anyway! My other fave from the Animorphs series is the Hork-Bajir Chronicles. Have you read either one? Which book is your fave? BTW, I think I'm gonna go to target to see if my Target has them. I also want to see what they look like. And if it's big enough! LOL!

Southernmeerkatmd, I dont what the deal with the color is. Sometimes when you post, you get a diferent box, with a menu at the top. It has the colors and faces and some other stuff. I think some people might know how to do this, but I dont know. I have been getting this menu since last nignt, and I erased my cookies and logged back in today! So I dont know, I'am just using it while I can. lol

Hey Everybody, Out of work early today. Had to go see the dentist. Hmm....dentist or work...which is the lesser of two evils ??? Hildy..NO snow yet. I'm nowhere near ready for that frozen white stuff yet. Melba...the leaves here haven't peaked yet. I'd say within the next couple of weeks. Today was mismatch day at school. I wore a colorful jacket, a dull turtleneck, and big furry pants, that if you wear the matching shirt you will look a lot like a bear. I was the most mismatched person there! YAY!
Attila, if you thought that was funny, we had spirit week at school last week, and one day was dress up as you favorite celeberity. Well, since I couldnt dress up like Youssarian, I acted like him. I went around school all day twitchin my head and crossin my hands. I even decided to do it at football practice.And a few people even asked me if I had Terrets!
Especially when it goes over 15 inches and everyone has to pay attention to it.
I loved the storm 11 years ago when we got 27" and the state was shut down for a day (only emergency vehicles on the road). Makes everyone pay attention.
And before you guys who are used to tons of snow start making fun of us, remember, EVERY SQUARE INCH OF SNOW has to be carted to the river or melted. There is just no place to push it on the side. Not in the immediate NYC area!!!
LOL! You could have worn dark brown shoes and socks, golden brown shirt and pants, used a brown marker to draw striped and maybe some spots on your back, fake fangs, brown gloves, brown ear-muffs, and a fake tail. Then, you could have painted dark circles around your eyes, a scar above your eye, colored your nose black, and drawn on some whiskers. That's what I would have done! LOL! Maybe I could be Youssy for Halloween. Either him, or Flower, or Attila. Maybe Mozart or Shakespeare.
