I discovered this show on a cloudy Saturday Afternoon and fell in love with it. Its very exciting and the volunteers are brave or better yet bold to do this.

The team that I enjoyed the most was that with Jasmine, Allan, & Tim. They worked as a team by helping one another and pushing aside the disagreements to get to a safe place (the Cabin).

Please KEEEP THE SHOW GOING!!!!!

I agree. There's no other show like it on TV. Can't wait for every episode. Does anyone know where you apply to get on?

I totally agree!!! Never heard of this show, and one day on a boring Sunday, they had the last couple of episodes. I just fell completely for it. Its just so different and really makes you think.

Love the show and don't want it to end. I did feel the producer is rushing to pack everything into 7 episodes minus the long commercial breaks. There got to be so much footage that we did not get to see and would love to see. Do want to thank Bernice for her wonderful diary, now that I have seen the shows, I can even visualize all the activities she described. Couldn't be there but reading it was the next best thing. Now I would love to read the others' diary.

One of the best reality shows on TV since the reality show genre has been a staple of viewing over the last 10 or so years.

I have never really paid attention to survivor, I don't care for American Idol either, but I watch dealiest catch, dirty jobs, Survivorman, and the Alaska Experiment when I'm watching TV. I love the alaska Experiment most of all because its new and fresh. My DVR has had a good workout recording all the episodes in the series.

I hope you will continue the show and make it even more interesting with different areas for the people to setup their camps. I love the show and wish you success with it. Thanks for such entertaining reality show content Discovery Channel.

I too love this show! I am avid outdoorsman. My wife, she sees camping as a hotel without room service. I was glad to see that all made it though safely, and that Jeff and Elizabeth were going back to Alaska, to really continue a adventure of a lifetime.

I am sitting here watching the final of season 1 and was thinking about how my mother and father moved to Alaska in 1954 or thereabouts and they lived in a half walled tent for the firs two years in Ak beore they finally got an old travel trailer, at that time, must have been something. They lived just outside of Valdez where at that time they got around 20 feet of snow or more during the year. I was born in valdez in 1956 and have a Territory of Alaska birth certificate and stayed up there 23 years. For the short period of time those folks in your show were there they did Okay. I have spent a fair amount of time up around chitina and my brother and some friends took snow machines from the Chitina Valley to Cordova one winter, I couldn't make that trip due to work but would have loved to go. Growing up in AK was an experience I will never forget, that is for sure. Keep up the good work.
