My sister lost her leg years ago in a motorcycle accident. She had a prosthetic for awhile but can't use it any more and is restricted to a wheelchair because she doesn't have insurance that will cover a new leg.

Does anyone know of any source of assistance for her?

Mike. Has she tried to get medicade or some state assistance? That must be very up setting to her. I hope she can find some help soon!

My 8 tear old daughter is also an amputee. Depending on your sister's age, Shriner's Hospitals are wonderful! They don't even charge your insurance, so it doesn't matter if she has any.
