Hi guys.... i'm trying to talk my parents into taking me to the no loves party for my 16th birthday...so i was just wondering if any of you have been to it before...and if so what can u tell me about it? one thing that i was wondering was if i do get to go...how good of chances would i have to meet jesse...i've been to every bikeweek in daytona beach since i've lived here and i've never got to meet him because he never sets any times..it's just by chance..so i dont want to spend all that money on tickets to fly to long beach and get hotal rooms if i dont have at least an 85% chance of meeting him....also i was wondering if u can bring kids to the party because i have a little brother.
thanks in advance for any info you guys can give me *Marissa*
Sorry to be the one to crush your dreams but you don't have an 85% chance of meeting him. I've gone the past three years and it's gotten bigger each year. There's so many tourists and Walmart bikers there that I'm guessing if Jesse did show he'd be completely hounded by them for an autograph.

But??? Ya had a good time right? "if Jesse did show?" ..He's there !!!!!
NLP 9 was awesome! I got there early and there was already a huge line, but as they opened the gates it went pretty fast. Parking is pain just have to find some place in the nearby ally's.
I was kind of in the same boat as you. I was going to California and I had to pick a weekend and of course I picked the weekend of the NLP. It was well worth it.
As for meeting Jesse, I was lucky enough to be able to stay for most of the afternoon and I was just kicking it by some of the Monster Garage build cars and I hear the crowd roar. I look up and Jesse was making his way through the crowd. He was limping from his foot injury but he still posed for a few pics and I was lucky enough to shake his hand. He made his way from the old shop to his new one. When he was behind the gates he stopped and talked to Bill Dodge (WCC shop manager), and also Tyson Beckford for a while all why everyone was watching him.
I hung around for a few more hours and he didn’t return to the crowd. But just being there and seeing some of the folk heroes from Monster Garage like the Big Shwag, Barefoot Billy, Chopper Dave, Bill Dodge, Chino (from Motorcycle Mania 1) it was awesome.
The NLP's are cool because there are no vendors amd best of all it was FREE!!! I would highly recommend going if you had the chance even if you only get to check out WCC and some wicked Monster Garage builds!!!
P.S. Thanks for posting the pics Scars, I saw myself in the background of one of them!

thankz a lot strongbeachcalifas for the info......i told my parents wat u said and they said they would think about it....which is a big improvement from wat they had been saying...haha
I went to WCC and there wasn't anyone in there besides myself, my daughter and my friend. I assume Jesse James wasn't there, but then again if he was....I don't think he was licking his chops to make an appearance. He's got a million other things to do. There was a short guy that my daughter thought was Jesse James but it wasn't. Maybe next time it will actually be Jesse James instead of some other dude who kind of looks like him. It must suck to be mobbed everyday coming into work, but that's what happens when you're a bada** dude that builds bada** choppers. There's a few guys here that own WCCs and they are by far, THE sweetest bikes you'll find in this desert area. They say Jesse James is really cool and isn't all "Hollywood" like some people may think. Seeing how I'm one of his not-so-psycho fans, I'll probably never get to actually meet him. If I ever was there while he made an appearance, my luck I'd be pushed to the back by the fans who need restraining orders more then they need an autograph. =o( But, I'm sure timing is everything. =o) By the way, the web site for Monster Garage applications isn't working. It says the e-mail is undeliverable. Take care all.
Thats what a lot of fans think....not excluding me, they think that the person or persons that they like should give up their time to sign a million autographs.....and as cool as that would be that cant always happen doesnt make that person "mean" or anything like.
ROXIE IF YOUR PARENTS WILL TAKE YOU THEN GO FOR IT.NLP IS A HUGE PARTY AND WORTH THE TRIP..I MYSELF AM LOOKING TO GO THIS YEAR ..AND YA KNOW WHAT JESSE IS A REGULAR GUY HES NOT MR HOLLYWOOD .I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO MEET HIM IN NYC AT THE TAPING OF LETTERMAN WHEN HE DID THE HOTDOG CART BUILD..
HE WAS VERY COOL TO MEET .AND BELIEVE ME THERE WERE A LOAD OF PEOPLE .BUT HE TOOK THE TIME TO GREET PEOPLE AND TALK .
IF YA DONT DO IT NOW YOU MIGHT REGRET IT .AND NEVER THINK LIKE YOU WONT MEET HIM ..YOU JUST NEVER KNOW
