I like to steal away to the closest drugstore and peruse the cosmetic section.

Time alone and a chance to see what's out there usually results in some needed quiet and a new nailpolish color for my toes!

Oh, Kelly - you're singing my song! I think a good drugstore visit can provide a quickie break, when it seems like you can't get one.
I have friends who talk about "mani-pedi" and I can't help but think, WHEN? I don't have the time. But I do have time to add a new color once everyone's asleep!

I also love the clearance aisle at Barnes and Noble - great deals on mindless chick-lit!

Impulse buys at the grocery store! A good (or trashy - even better) magazine, some gossip, the latest trends... it's a mini steal away for me!
