I have the same problem you are having! I don't do exercises that much in one day. I fear over exhaustion. My uncle is a Martial Arts instructor....he told me a good variety of exercise (Cardio, weight training, and variety muscle toning) was important. Also...a hard truth is the way we eat. To get of it completely the only way is to be strict in our diet. Now...I love food...especially junk. I had a hard time switching from ****ing pop on a regular basis...to water. I liked water only when I was dehydrated. After a few weeks I did it. I didn't stop drinking pop completely...everyonce in awhile I drink some. I lost most taste for it though. The same goes for what we eat. I love fitness stuff...but I had to train myself to want to do it every morning at 5:30 or 6 AM. I am not unhappy with my weight....don't want to lose pounds...just inches around my baby belly and outer thighs. I have 2 kids...the oldest being 8....so I have some yrs. behind that belly. Just have to be patient, don't over work yourself, get strict with your diet, and variety on the exercise.
sorry....there is an oops in my last reply....where I said I had a hard time switching from pop....I don't know what I was typing before pop but it isn't supposed to be there. "****ing"....This is what I am talking about! Tina
THANKS FOR TALKIN TO ME ABOUT IT --I REALLY AM LOOKING FOR SPECIFIC EXCERCISES AND HOW MANY REPITITIONS TO DO FOR THAT AREA SPECIFICALLY. I DO GILAD AND SHARON MANN BACK TO BACK BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS TARGET DIFFERENT THINGS EVERYDAY--GILAD DOES A VERY GENERAL OVERALL WORKOUT AND SHARON REALLY CRANKS IT UP A NOTCH BUT REALLY DOES A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING AND WORKS EVERY INCH OF YOU IN SO MANY WAYS. JUST THOUGHT MAYBE I COULD DO SOME EXTRA ABDOMINALS THAT WOULD HELP THAT AREA. IM SOOO EXCITED FOR GILADS NEW SERIES!! ITS GOING TO BE GREAT IM SURE--REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO HIS WORKOUTS WITH THE HAND WEIGHTS. MY KIDS ARE 10 AND ALMOST 4 YRS. OLD SO MY POOCH HAS BEEN HERE AWHILE TOO. ALWAYS KNEW THAT WOULD BE THE BAD AREA FOR ME. EVEN B4 KIDS I HAD TO WORK EXTRA HARD TO KEEP A SOMEWHAT DECENT STOMACH.IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS LET ME KNOW THANKS DELJS
Someone told me jogging targets that area for a six pack. I think you should do the variety of stuff....as far as floor work after you do high impact workout....I heard that on fit tv. I can't remember why though! Good luck!!! Tina
There was an episode of Carribean Workout that focused on lower abs. The basic concept was to support your middle region by tightening your lower abs. Not ****ing in, but kind of like pulling them in to support your lower back.
Also, try the kind of sit ups where you lift your legs & butt too. Lay on your back, put your legs straight in the air & lift your butt & lower abs. It's NOT easy!
Hope this helps & I've communicated it clearly enough!
