Hi Sharon, I discovered fittv 2 months ago and from then I am your fan...how energetic u r.... ok, i am 5'4" and i weight 126 lbs.Though this seems to be in normal range I look fat and thatz 'coz of my fat tummy and buns-my waist is 34" and my buns 36".I do your workouts, I walk for 30-45 mins and a set of crunches.I do 1 or 2 of these everyday, 5 days a week. I haven't seen even a slight reduction. But my tummy had been always like this from my birth.ie by heriditary in my family all are fat(luckily iam not as fat as my relatives).I also have low-back(spinal) problem so I often do some simple exercises as recomended by my doc to relieve the pain.My boyfriend says I should not exercise and I should first burn calories and loose wt. by walking and after I reduce only I should start exercise to reduce my tummy. Is it so?And I am not able to run.I become very tired after just 2 mins and I also hurt my knees. Please help me to reduce my tummy.I am not even concerned abt my wt. as its in the normal range.
I am not quite sure what you mean by burning calories before exercising.....cause I don't believe that burning calories is possible without some form of exercise. Does he mean tone your muscles first? That makes a little more since to me. This is what I do...I see results. Start with your diet...you have to get strict...I don't care what everyone else says...it is the only way. Then cardiovascular is real good....muscle toning should follow aerobics....cause you are targeting in on a muscle....so it will work harder. I love exercising between 5 AM and 8 AM. I love Carribean Workout, and Gilad's Bodies in Motion. The reason is because they do a few minutes @ a time of cardi and then muscle toning...just alternate. Cardio Blast is good too....similar...maybe a little tougher. I get up and wake up with some coffee...then I exercise before I eat. It helps with energy and your mindset. If you exercise first you will be more cautious about what you eat. I use that One A Day Multivitiman weight smart for women. I love it. Hope this helps you some... haiku
