Lately I have been working out during the day, but my husband works strange hours....normally from early afternoon to early evening. I would like to be able to wake up early and basically get my workout done before my son goes to school at 8am. Does anyone have any ideas on how to wake up at an earlier time than usual feeling refreshed to start working out? I am getting at least 7hours of sleep every night, but can't seem to pull myself out of bed an hour earlier. Any ideas will help, anything is worth a try. Thank you fro listening! Please reply.
i recently found what i thought was a yoga stretch program on fittv. i was so excited since my old yoga program left the air. i bought the equiptment and set my tv for 7:30 am. this gives me enough time to exercise before work. since then miss mann has done nothing but step exercises. the stretch show is now at 4 pm. helllooo some of us work. put the stretch program back. also it took me over 30 minutes to get to this site to complain. i am thinking about not watching direct tv at all. i work as a therapist in mental health, have my own practice and consider myself computer literate. if i cannot get on this site without a stroke, think of those older adults who do not have computer skills. we still buy merchandise, watch tv and need to be considered. please get your heads out of the teeny boppers cavities and do something for us older adults. put the stretch exercise progrtam back on the morning show. jan
I wake up before my kids to work out every day. a)I have found that working out first thing in the morning gives me more energy to deal with my day and B) by making it part of my every day wake up routine, I have found that this is really my time alone for me and that working out is just for me and makes me look and feel great! If you keep at it I think after a few days you will feel great!
The problem you describe is the exact reason why I didn't excercise for two years. I just couldn't get out of bed before 7 AM when I had to get in the shower for work - but I had no time to excercise unless it was first thing in the morning. I've been back on track for 2 months. You just have to make yourself do it. Once I started, my internal clock began to slowly reset itself and now I'm up an hour earlier no problem. I feel great - I have more energy, I'm losing weight and I love to start the day working out. Anybody can do this. It just takes motivation and dedication!
