Hi Sharon,

First let me say that I love your shows. Since I have started a diet and exercise program about 8 weeks ago I have lost almost 20 lbs. Smile My problem is that in March of this year I was hospitalized because my apendix ruptured 10 days earlier. I was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks and lost some weight there. After recuperating from the major surgery I decided to start the diet and exercise program. My problem is that when they took the appendix they obviously had to cut through muscles, fat, etc. Since doing the exercises I have noticed changes and weight loss but, I honestly do not see any difference in my lower stomach area where there is still a 8 inch scar (approx.) from my belly button to my pelvic bone. Also there is still a dip between the left and right side because my stomach had to heal from the inside out to avoid infection. When I do crunches I can feel my muscle contract above my belly button but, I don't feel anything below. It was suggested that there could be nerve damage from the surgery but, I would still obviously benefit from the crunches. Can you suggest any exercise that would help in that area. I am still doing all the other different exercises also because I have about 25 more lbs to go.
Thanks for any help you can give! I Love your show and thanks for being a part in my weight loss so far!
B.R.
