This is my first time to post anywhere, but I just got done doing one of the Sharon Mann workouts and am so annoyed that I had to say something.
Whenever that other Sharyn is on doing the high impact side of a workout, she is such a spaz. She flails her arms around and jumps up and down with no control.
Control is always more important than speed or reps and also to warming up slowly.
She was flipping around from the first beat.
If someone didn't know better and wanted to work out hard by watching her, they could pull or twist something.
I completely agree, I can't stand her. She is soo spazy. Considering how hard she works out she must eat alot(sorry to say), she isn't very toned. Plus she does lots of yoga too, go figure.
You guys are all out to lunch! You see some fit woman working her butt off and you claim that she will cause you injuries?? It's called hard work people, you should try it sometime and maybe you can better understand sharons methods. Sharon is obviously way to advanced for you. For first step should be to put down the brownies and remote control.
I am an advanced exerciser. I work out 6 days a week for minimum 1 hour. I have been doing that for 15 years. I also was an instructor for a few years. I am pointing out that the form used by the woman on the high impact side is not good form to follow if you are warming up. She starts out way to bouncy and if someone else didn't know any better they could pull a muscle or something. I know better. The higher impact and intensity is a good option for those who can do it, but not right out of the gate when you are cold.
I AM SO HAPPY SOMEONE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS! She has raised a HUGE question for me!!!!
I was always told that FORM is so much more important than anything......Even when your just stepping side to side - bend your knees and don't BOUNCE AROUND.....You'll do more work by having great FORM........SO, Am I wrong?????? I understand she is probably doing some weird, wild SUPER Aerobics - but I just don't see the form - OK, not to mention she has stolen Sharon's head wiggle thing! That drives me more crazy.....Sorry.....
Ok, So the question is.....Does she have accurate FORM???????????? or is she just wildly flipping around.....
If you really watch closely she does have good form. She has control of the "flailing motions" that everyone keeps talking about. I follow along with her EVERY DAY and I don't get hurt. She offers up a lot more of a cardio based workout then any of the others! She is great and I love following along with her!
I actually like her!! I like the dark haired one the best.....Its hilarious seeing them spaz out... Makes me laugh and helps me get through the workout.. Come one guys. dont you have anything better to do with your lives besides gossip and critisize? exercise should be fun too! So all you housewives get a friggin life!
I agree with some of the responses Sharyn Mann is a spaz, she looks crazy and all over the place. I'am sure there is some good there but if you are a first timer or just new to working out she can definitly turn you off.
I am an Exercise Physiologist and hold various fitness certifications. I watch Fit tv regularly and Im very disappointed in Fit tv allowing someone like Sharyn (not Mann) on the show. She has no form and is constantly trying to compete with the star of the show. She looks extremely unprofessional and is a total turnoff to the show. Please take her off, she is ruining your credibility.
Who is the woman that always stands to the right of Sharon Mann? The one who is supposedly doing a more "advanced" version? I hate to sound mean but she's generally closer to out of control than "advanced"-- her form is not good and if she's an instructor then she needs to watch a tape of the show and correct her form. And please practice the step portions before filming as she obviously rarely teaches/takes step and is an embarrassment to the rest of us instructors.

"Way too advanced"???? You are joking, aren't you? I hope so.
