Congratulations to you and the crew of the Black Pearl for reaching $2 billion. Dakota must be as wary of you as you are of the capable crew of the Kim.

I look forward to firing the muskets and extending the plank of congratulations for when you reach $3 billion, but the cannons will sing at $4 billion.

The Pirates group has performed admirably, but for a couple of scallywags who are not carrying their weight. As you know, my ship and crew have been severly cursed recently by Neptune and his minions. Since I assume you would like to remain a medium-sized group, if you would like to delete me from your Pirates roster to bring another in, I completely understand and will not be offended.

I can't say I've been in a rough patch because things haven't been overly bad, but they have been busy; much more than I care for. I knew it was going to happen, but didn't think it would be as soon as it was.

Game-wise, I needed to take a break and went cold turkey for a little bit. Part of me feels I owe some of you an apology for that because, like you, I consider you friends, but there were times I also couldn't help it.

I hadn't read the boards in a while, so I caught up some on that tonight. With a newbie crew, my research dollars have slowed to a crawl and it's taken me the night just to break a $million. Ah, for the good old days!

I am glad to see you back and doing well. I didn't respond to most of the messages I read because of the time delay, but let me belatedly congratulate you on hitting your second $billion and for being on the leaderboard....where you belong!

Thanks, glad to see you are at least hanging around. I owe my $2B in part to zen, who has kept a fire lit under me for awhile. Game time will fall off next week, at least for awhile, I get my room mate in my office and will not be playing when he is around. This week was my last big push, now it will be just trickling along.

There will always be a place for you in the Pirates group, just as there is for cabomyths. Now worries there.

It's a helpless feeling when when diving with a nubie crew and seeing those on a roll gettin after it. Been on both sides. Like yours better. Just got to deal with it. Been in the rebuilding mode for awhile after a rash of attacks on the waverunner. But...most of the top tenners aren't playing much which has given me a chance rebound without losing too much position.
