I'm getting fed up with this game. I just lost 3 crew members in a row on three consecutive dives. 2 crew members were my top 2. I don't know how much longer i'll be playing this game. It's fun and all, but it's really frustrating.

it seems like every time i do a dive, whether its one person or three, i always get attacked! i spent 15 g's on a specialist and on her first dive, SHARK ATTACK!!! i am getting tired of it! this game is to fun to quite playing, but if these attacks persist, i think i just might!
we must keep pushing forward for the good the sharks. Yes i know it is hard work, especially when you keep losing good members of your crew. things will get better.
I didn't just lose my best guy... i lost my best 2 to the reef sharks in the space of 5 mins to 2 different sharks... and they were both fully rested!!! ahhhh i'm so annoyed!! oh i and i lost another to a tiger as well today. i've never lost 3 in one day before.... AAAAHHHH!!!!
once your crew has had a shark attack , it means they are gone, you will see them again in port and be able to hire them again , however thier stats will be reset.
I have notice one thing that htese shark are quite more agreesive than last years. so it is a big gamble any time you send a crew into the water

I just lost my best crew member....40 stamina, 22 skill...over 40 shark encounters. He was fully rested and we had never even dived on Hilary before...I knew I shouldn't have did a 1 person dive but i need it for my research project. V_V
This game can be brutal. Had a lot of run-ins with Lucy last year...she chewed up alot of good crew! Made we wish there was a "shove a scuba tank in her mouth and shoot with a gun" option on the encounter menu! GL to all and keep plugging along!
Not only did I just lose one of my guys to Rainebow2, but it was during a surface observation. Plus, the same shark had been perfectly fine with the 3-person dive a few minutes before.
it sucks to be a sucessful SR and lose a very valuable and experienced crew member but think of how devastating losing a crew member can be to someone who has not learned the great amount of patience that you need for this game
but no matter where you are in the game losing a crew member hurts... literaly

im right there with you hatter. i lost my best man i was working with since i started and i named him after myself. so i got chewed up. and as a new member im not makin a lot of money. Maybe $900- $1500 an encounter and my best man just got med-evaced. now i have to hire a new guy and start all over. he didnt even get attacked by a shark!! i think he got fed up with me puttin him to work so much and jumped ship. it is starting to get frustrating but im already addicted and wont stop playing for a long time to come
first i lost richard to nichole, then my main man Roy after like 46 dives 30 somthin skill and 20 somethin stamin and rested to adam on a catch and release, then friggin the guy i just hired to repace him to ripley, a reef shark on a stupid surface encounter
AAuugh -- I just lost another to Ripley - she was 60 Stamina and 60 skill - "rested" and was a Catch & Release trip. I am almost too paranoid to use Earl who has 204 Skill and 200 stamina....I'll use him for 3 dives then no more for a couple of hrs!!!!
last night was MY bad shot, im also in a duel, twice i had to limp into port all by my lonesome, *sigh. BUT!!!! now im back Just got full shark on....... "rainbow 2, YESSS!!, i lost a lot of great crew to her, nicole been kickin my but too, it seems the closer u get to full specs, the meaner they get. I just lost Ray... My first guy. Now Alice has gone into a depression and has locked herself in the cabin. Mike won't stop drinking.... Sigh! It's just not going to be the same on The Cinderella... (Sob! Sob!)
I just lost my only specialist to Rainebow2 during a cage dive. Ironically, I got the Expert Sharkrunner achievement after the next encounter and was able to purchase a shiny new titanium cage too late to save her.
Just lost 3 crew members to two different sharks in one hour and now I have no crew and no money to replace them. I see no reason for this in this game. One shark got both crew members on a two person dive! Boo Hoo
Ive lost a total of 15 crew members to Rainebow2. That shark is FREAKING AGREESIVE. He just ate my 15k specialist. Fully rested, thanks to the expresso machine. I feel bad for the other 14 crew members though. Wait. 14x3+15k....ive lost 39k to that shark. IM FINNING HIM! *goes crazy*
isnt it weird how attached we get to these guys? you put all that hard work into them just to have them eaten and its sooo....disapointing. Your never readdy to lose them...and you never quite get over it sniff sniff
Between Rainebow 2, Rainebow 1, and Adam, I lost (5) people yesterday and, for a time, had a ghost ship. I even got "hate mail" from my Org. telling me I was being put on a probation of sorts.
How do we respond explaining shark PMS and shark SRS (Sperm Retention Syndrome)???
Jan , i completely agree, I just can't say this enough, this game is really alot tougher this year. But still i am soo proud of all of you for your ' keep on trucking ' attitude. You guys rock! xxoo bree
