Bree how can we not keep on trucking? We have to keep going if only to honor the fallen! (and there are alot) It is in bruce's memory that my boat keeps going and someday i hope to name something after him...a dingy or maybe a box of cookies...something.

I just had a thought... all those divers must be horrible on their stomacks i mean the tanks and the wet suits i mean we are going to kill them all by trying to save them.
just think of the nagging from their moms "billy have you eaten your fish today?" "but ma the divers are so much tasteir and easyer to chatch"
Plus all the fish will start to over populate so we will end up ruining the enviorment.
We are horrible people

lol napolean , But i do mean it sideshow. I myself have just lost 2 of my best. considering that i cannot even get a crewmembers skill above 30 lol. RIP Mike we will miss you!

hey im fairly new to this and majorly obsessed already so i had a few questions im hoping can be answered...
how long does the game go on? is it only available surrounding weeks of shark week? why does kari insist on eating my crew members when i was just starting? i want to get far into this before its over.
i also think i myself should be able to dbl as captain and crew member, im not somew snob whose afraid to get bit, i want to study them up close too!

as far as i know Booty , this game goes on until the next season, so you have a long time in order to 'get up and close' as you want as for the snacking on your crew , it seems as if we are all having the same prob lol

booty, lol. its very funny to be addressed with that title. im actually having a little success with one of my two boats; the other is unmanned and out of fuel. buying the chain and scuba really help with the attacks, plus im not sending tired people down there alone anymore. if this goes on all year im going to get fired from my job for being on this all day!

Richard was just one dive away from the 50 encounters, and he got chomped by Adam on a catch and release... My first guy in the thirties, why couldn't have he eaten Mike.

i got a letter too saying i need to treat my crew better? it came iwth 30,000$ too, but i hardly think buying an espresso machine would be good for them. any suggestions?

Yeh! i have one...buy your crew some thin mints...infact you should have a supply of thin mints on your ship AT ALL TIMES! dont want a mutiny on board you know? Believe me when you have to kill off your whole crew because they wont listen to you is not a fun day...lots of hard work down the drain money gone...its a bad day!

it is a good idea not to let your crew dive when tired, dive until they are tired , then either logg off and wait a few hours or use your remote cam.

I just lost Earl... 328 skill 149 stamina...it was a freak thing. I did 25 dives total with all crew trying to get em eaten(Only the sucky ones to get ones from Hamamas) and they don't get eaten. And I dive on a diff shark in the pack FOR THE FIRST TIME and earl got eaten T_T

I lost Mike a great crewmember after 51 Encounters. WHY??? Is there any way of getting him back?? He was not attacked he just left after the 51st encounter.

i lost my favorite diver right after she got me the hier apparent accompishment. she completed her 50th dive and then when i sent her down for another one she decided to feed herself to the sharkies. Catalina and vicky are my 2 best. all my others are just chum

at least after monica was eaten i got the adreniline junky accomplishment. that helped a little but still i only gained 1k from her death and if it came down to it i think id rather have monica back

There should be more people at Hamamas. Or atleast they shoudl start out GREAT like 25+ skill or stamina and as you buy them they decrease until they are just like reg divers you buy at moresby and bamaga and lakefield.

That damn JR just ate Bruce on my first encounter - a simple catch & release with the good equipment. He was my frist mate.

I lost Alice today to rainbow 1.. she is a mean one, and poor Alice was at a stamina of 100 and was fully rested doing a turtle decoy dive when it happened. It seems as soon as any of my crew get a stamina over 50 they become shark bait. Oh well least she died doing what she loved.. and i get another rookie to work to the bone.. sad to see her go, but one step closer to another acomplishment i suppose

*sniff* I just lost my ABSOLUTE BEST crewman just minutes ago. *sob* Todd, you were my favorite partner during my research.
Earlier today I had completed all data on Tiger Sharks (thereby receiving the achievement and additional funding), with the help of my 2 best men; Todd and Roy. *sniff* they didn't have the same favorite fish but they were the best team you could find. They were like 2 brothers together.
Once I had finished all the tiger sharks by completing Stacy's data, I decided to "dump" a member of the crew in Stacy's area, soas to free up more room for the nerd patrol achievement.
So I decided to send down Todd and John on a 2 man dive (in order to gain additional research for my current project). I should have realized something was wrong and stepped in when John went and unloaded the entire Chum bucket into the water near Todd.
Todd had been with me from the start of our shark research, and I trusted him immensely. He was like an older brother to the rest of my crew, he was there for everything. From when we first set out into the ocean, to when we lost Anette *sniff*.
I should have stopped John when he told Todd to get closer to Stacy, but I didn't.....
Todd had 75 Stamina, 114 encounters with sharks, and 67 skill.
My team and I lost our best member today........I'm on my way back to port now, and I hope that I will be able to re-hire him to the team. That would be a dream come true.........

well I'm officially annoyed at Vicky or Roselyn (not sure which one I'm blaming at the moment because they're the only ones who ARE NOT specialists lol). So last night, I lost my Best man Roy on a 2 man dive. I sent him down on a dive with either Vicky or Roselyn and they had very very very low stamina (so low that an attack is guaranteed); and it was my intention to "feed her to the shark." (to make room for more crew members and stuff). However....the shark decided to leave the girl I sent down, Alone, and instead went and attacked Roy  Roy WAS in fact my best crewmate because he had 70+ Stamina and 60+ skill (he was the first crewmember I HIRED in my game) His passing has been a dark cloud over the crew......I'm not sure if I can hold them all together until we make port again in Lakefield, after a couple dozen encounters with grey reef sharks and a couple tigers. |

Ok, so Rocky gets my specialist Willie chummed- not a real big deal, both pretty new. But get to port for replacement, and Rocky keeps pushing for another woman... He wants to be only male diver!! Gonna have to keep my eye on him  |

I was out on the reef and did 5 dives. Three of them ended up as shark food!!! Everyone had full stamina. I almost exploded!!!

After suffering the terrible loss of Bruce & Earl (he never got to complete his ";ist"), I'd finally built up Annette to over 70 in stamina and she was patiently mentoring the other ladies who recently joined the crew.
We were attempting to complete the Tigers by performig a catch & release on Nikki when she flew into a rage and attacked.
Moody sharks!!!
Now I'm back to a crew that isn't good for much more than fish food until they get up to speed, even if they are "specialists".

Jan i absolutely know EXACTLY how you feel. I recently lost my 2 best crewmembers, both with 70+ stamina each if it makes you feel any better at all, I'm starting to think about sending some of my specialists out as shark bait lol Because for the most part i'm just really annoyed/upset that I lost my 2 best guys, for these "specialists" who are much less experienced than my best guys were. |

Thanks for the note. I'm still MAD, but the "specialists" I have are actually better than anything else waiting to be hired on in some port, so I just have to make a pie out of the poop the sharks are serving up.

poor poor sharkman I to lost my best today, the beautiful Alice, the angle of my seas. Fully rested, I sent her down in a titanium cage with repellants and a new diver, on the assumption that if only one returned, it would be my Alice. She did not. She had 96 completed dives, so close and now so far away. Good night my love. Thus completes the circle of life. But I did get tigers complete and shopaholic. I also have earned enough to break the top ten weekly list. yay  lol |
