How come crocidiles are not sedated when transported from place to place. Last Sunday I watched Steve and crew transport 2 crocs in Idonesia to more suitable environment. However, the crocs must have been traumatized by all the wrestling with them to get them moved. Why can't they be sedated for transportation??
Yikes! My daughter of course now dreams of being a type of "The Crocodile Hunter." I don't know if I should thank you for that and encourage her to grow out of it. I would need some serious xanax if she played with dangerous animals the way Steve and Terri does.
Hey Steve and Kelly,I am watching your show now and see it regulary. Close calls and tricky stunts are part of the fun. I just saw something that realy scared me... Your beautful Daughter sitting in the bow of your run-about With out a life Jacket on. Having lost an 18month old beautful Daughter in a drowning accident. I have a understanding of how the Unthinkable has a way of becomming a Tragedy. Life Jackets save lives. I am sorry if this sounds like I am telling you how to raise your family, I certinly will not but the alternative is Unthinkable.
Hey Steve I was wondering if you would ever come to Chattanooga,Tenn.. I am a very big fan of your Wifes,Daughter,And Wes ..... You have lots of fans here so please come and see us .....Please if you can please e-mail me and let me know ...Thanks alot Jason Mozingo...Good Luck mate...
Hello Steve! My 9 year old son Alex watches your show all of the time(so does his little brother Jake). He absolutely loves to watch all of your adventures. He would like to know what does he need to study in the future to become just like you. Do you need to be a Zoologist, Veterinarian or what specific science do you need to concentrate on. He loves animals and just like you, loves to catch (and release of course), lizards, frogs, etc. He loves to rescue animals and take care of them.
He is a total fan of yours and would like to know how he can write to you.
Please respond. It would be the greatest thing for my son. Hazel in Virginia
My son Alex, who is almost 6, loves the Croc Hunter! He has watched your show since he was two, or at least as long as I can remember. And he still watches with excitement every time you come on! He loves reptiles, sharks and of course crocs. They are my favorite too! We aren't well off, but I would lke a chance to bring him to Australia next year to see your Australia Zoo. I am a single parent with a son who has the greatest love for animals! And he loves you too! He dreams of doing what you do someday. Do you have any suggestions for us as to possible groups that visit your zoo or any vacations that are affordable that will take us from where we live in Virginia, USA to where you are? Thanks for all your energy, and for the excitement that you bring to my son everytime you come on our TV. You all are wonderful! Love the live shows too. They're great! ps. Alex wants to know how he can get a really big croc of his own...fake of course.
Steve Did you ever get the last massage i posted monday night. How far do you travl into Pa. I live in the north easten Pa. In a small town named Blossburg. After the eggs hatch and the babies get bigger what do you do with them? Do you keep them all or do you give some of them to other zoos? Also have you had any baby alligators hatch yet?
I really did see the resemblance between Steveo and Dame Edna. Ha ha. That was funny. I wonder what tomorrows big Steveo Surprise will be. Any guesses?
i was recently in Newport, Oregon and was disturbed by the realization that seagulls are not worth saving if injured. I spotted a bird with a broken wing and finally caught him up thinking that I would get help for the poor thing. i was told by everyone to let nature takes its course. I had a hard time doing this but before I let him go...I bought bread for him and set him free by the ocean in a safe area. I thought about taking him home with me but I live in Idaho and realized that taking him out of his natural habitat would probably cause more harm than good. Anyway my question to any of you is this......do you think a seagull deserves help from us if injured and would you help it?
Ever since Croc Diaries started airing I've had a crush on Kelsey Engle. Could we get some more info on her? She's very popular on the show but I don't think people know too much about her.
What are her duties at the zoo, her age, single or married, hobbies, what she did when she left the zoo last year, and why she came back?
And most inportantly of all: Will she go on a date with me?!
