I used to watch LA Ink for the beauty of tattoos and the story and meaning behind the tattoos. I don't want to watch a high school soap opera . Being someone who hires and fires people myself, I find it despicable that Kat would hire someone, have them move across the country and then not give him the time of day. . And Corey - saying that everyone is expendable. That is true, but before they become expendable they should at least be given an opportunity to prove themselves. Kat needs to learn how to respect people and really needs to learn how to run a business. SHES HAD HER CHANCE, TLC SHOULD GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A CHANCE WHO WILL KEEP IT REAL!Lady Mallissa

I agree 100% with you. I have never seen a Boss make a person feel like crap right in front of everyone like she does Aubrey! The things she says to Aubrey, and lets Corey say to her is just wrong. Kat needs to learn to talk to her employees in private.(doesn't she have an office?) I just think her and Corey think they are better than everyone else. Why Aubrey keeps putting up with them is beyond me! I say AXE the DAMN show, and KAT!!!

please TLC no more L.A ink i cant take kat and her shop anymore now there picking who people can stay with come on. i could care less if there good at doing tattoo's i would never want any of them to ever touch me. and i find myself waiting to watch paul and amy anyway real people.
NO more La Ink. I just watch the show to see Paulie and Amy as well, they made a good discusion to leave La Ink. they are real people and speak what they feel. Im tired of seeing kat and her pet peed Corey talk down on people and now Dan has joined their crew. NO more LA INK.
Whew! I am glad I'm not the only person who feels this way. This show has gotten as ridiculous as Kat's make-up and clothing. She looks like a extra from the Mos Eisley cantina in Star Wars. They should air this show on the SyFy channel.
Aubrey is an obvious plant by the producers for 1.) a cause of friction (DRAMA!!!) in the shop and 2.) a very, very, VERY weak attempt at sex appeal. I wonder how much money TLC is paying Kat to keep her worhtless a** on? Aubrey is an idiot. We know it, the shop knows it, I'm sure that even Aubrey herself knows it. I wouldn't put her on cleanup at a porn shop with "private viewing booths".
Paulie? A big WTF on that one...he doesn't even WORK there anymore (did he ever work there?)!! Why the f are the cameras still on his bootheels then?
And on a personal note, I couldn't care less about the personal reasons and symbolism of EVERY SINGLE customer's tattoo that they air (thank god for Tivo...just zip right through that filler). Just shut up, sit down, and put the needle to the skin, OK?
I don't want L.A. Ink to go - not just yet. It's like they're at two strikes at the mound? I have really liked Kat Von D. but it's like that old saying, "Whom the gods wish to destroy they first make famous." She has really mishandled this Paulie affair and has basically treated his employment as she herself was treated only a few years ago on Miami Ink herself. And what is with that Corey always stroking her with the praise and adulation? I need to watch the show with a handy dandy bucket close by. His mistreatment of Aubrey borders on workplace abuse and I don't find it funny. Yes, I too am in full support of Paulie's new venture at this other "down to earth" tattoo shop with Amy. (Notice how Paulie has turned into the most decent person in the latest episode where he invites Aubrey for lunch with Amy? He isn't the irritating Brooklyn kid we met at first!) You better be careful Kat - your behavior has ruffled your viewers' feathers.
I agree, i dont even watch it much after i found out that hannah and kim were let go. I know why cause they were prettier and better artists than Kat and Corey. She always gets rid of anyone that more popular than her or a better artist. Miami Ink was right to boot her butt and I'm tired of Corey and his woman hating that guy needs serious therapy and everyone should be concerned for his wife. If he can treat Aubry that way in public what is he like to her behind closed doors??
I stopped watching it the week Kat told Aubry she couldn't hang around with Amy and Paulie. The one where she basically said it's us or "them". I got tired of Corey's, Kat's, and Dan's abuse of Aubry. Yeah, she's an airhead but fire her already and stop abusing her. She seems like she has a really good heart and what they are doing to her bugged the cr** out of me. No one, absolutely no one should allow themselves to be treated that way but I can understand when someone NEEDS a job, especially in California's economy. Even if she is a plant for a scripted show, she still needs the money so she takes the abuse.
MAN,I am glad I am not the only one that feels this way!!!Finally I have found some people w/common sense instead of all these others that kiss KAT,Corey and Dans Asses! I have seen MUCH better artists than these and they don't have a show!!
I think they should just start a new show were Amy and Pauli are working. The attitudes of the people at LA ink are just down right nasty. They are obviously unhappy with who they are and the only way you can feel better is by putting others down. They all stand right in front of Aubry and say nasty stuff about her like she isn't there. Kat can blame her attitude on any one of the many "issues" she has had, but the bottom line is when yoru soul is rotten everyone else can see it now matter how much you try to paint over it.
Switch to A&E. Theres a couple good tatoo shows over there. Kat can stuff Corey all the way up her poop chute. That ugly greasy headed goat. She can stuff that little f****t dan in there along side Corey. Morally decrepid. The whole freaking bunch. I feel sorry for Aubrey that she was put thru that. Shame on TLC for not intervening and pulling this show out of the lineup. Sending the message that somehow talent gives you the right to treat people like trash. I wont watch this show in reruns or if it happens to get another season. Im Done......
This used to be one of my favorite shows despite a deep dislike of "reality" shows. Everyone knows its all setup and pretty much scripted, but the show has gone from being mostly about art to cornball, setup drama. I have never been so happy to see the season end. This last show was such a insult to the viewers intelligence and foolish. Its time for a new show more about tattoos and less about badly acted, grade school drama.
I too loved this show but what happened?Did Kat and Corey become king and queen of planet earth?Or at least SoCal??The drama is soooooooo sickning and who cares about Kat's hair or make-up.I thought this show is about tattoo's???And Aubry...she might be a airhead but no1 deserves to be treated like that. She should sue TLC,Kat Corey and the other idiot Dan.Yes the show should be cancelled too. What a sad.. sad joke it has become.
I totally agree with Lady Malissa the show is not what it was supposed be anymore and every time I watch I miss Miami Ink even more. LA ink suck big time and I am becaming to hate Corey and Kat. Now I understand why Ami James did like Kat, she is too full of herself.
you people crack me up, its a show and the people making the show tells the people on it what they want and dont want, and you have 2 choises, do it or forget about having a show. so dont blame the actors blame the show makers for they write the script. cancel the show, right, i dont think so, do what you told aubrey to do, leave and stop watching, but you really think they care what a few misguided clowns have to say about there hit show. look at the ratings, it was the largest in that time slot of any show, and they should care what you think, yea right, the president dose not care what you think why should they. grow up and turn the channel.
I too am tired of LA Ink but I do like to hear why the client is getting the tattoo I think the story is for the most part interesting and more important then the drama with the artist and other employees. I would rather have Miami Ink back or just a new shop.
I know they say, if you don't like it don't watch it. But sometimes a show becomes so annoying that even if you don't watch it, you don't want to see it be rewarded because that just encourages networks like TLC to produce more of this crap.
Actually, LA Ink was only the top rated show for the debut episode. It's been up and down ever since, and now Jon and Kate blew those numbers completely out of the water. LA Ink opened at 3mill+ and has gone down ever since, it's never had those numbers again. Don't get me wrong, having 1-2mill or whatever is good for cable, but it's not maintained what TLC had hoped it would. J&K had almost 10mill, I can't imagine TLC will be spending any time on any other show for quite sometime now that they have such a huge tabloid spectacle like Jon and Kate. JLo and Marc Anthony lost a development deal and TV show with TLC because TLC just didn't want to take time away from J&K.
I don't want it to go, I just want it to get back to the way it was ( about the people and their Tats) not all the stuff/drama that it has turned out to be. These Tat show's got popular for their Tattooing,, not all their personal stuff!

J&K only got 10 million for that one episode, because of the divorce announcement. They also racked up 5+ million for a couple of other episodes that were strategically marketed to capitalize on all the drama. But since then, the show has gone down-down-down, and keeps getting pulled in lieu of reruns because they have to stop filming all the time. In their last new episode, they only drew 1.7 million. TLC needs to jump off that sinking ship asap.
