I just finished watching the "LIFE AFTER PIXIE" episode and i am completely discussed by the way Kat has handled this...Pixie is completely right to feel the way she feels and the fact that so little of the show was dedicated to Pixie is bull

PIXIE IS ONE OF THE STARS of this show...look at all of the cast photos..she is right next to Kat and Corey...Kim is always in the background...Im sure you can get another female tatoo artist that is as good or better than Kim...

I feel that Kim doesnt bring anything exciting to the show and Pixie does...she is beautiful and full of excitement and charm...

I am very disappointed in Kat for not stepping up to the plate and standing behind Pixie since Kat is the one that wanted Pixie in the show...

Someone needs to give Pixie her own show...and hopefully that is what this is all about...she is a great makeup artist and could really make a name for herself and her talents...

WE LOVE PIXIE...please give her a show or at the very least bring her back to LA INK...because i dont know that i am going to continue to watch it if it stays going in this manner...

That Gregg that they brought on to take Pixie's place is a moron...keep him as the clean up guy...and bring back our beloved PIXIE

ANYWAY...isnt this a TV show...shouldnt all of the tattoo artist's stuff be set up by the show and not by one of the STARS?...THIS MAKES NO SENCE TO ME

GET A GRIP KAT AND GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR *** AND GET PIXIE BACK IN THE SHOP...B4 YOU LOSE A MAJOR PART OF YOUR FANS

pixie should have been trained properly. A shop manager has lots to do. all the ordering. which she didn't do. they were out of gloves most of the time. trash wasn't taken out. stations weren't cleaned. she didn't supply the stations. or the toilet paper. she just sat around and expected to get 10% of their tips everynight? Kat should have trained her. not just given her the title.

I myself have finished watching "Life AFTER PIXIE". Last week my mother and I talked about the fight that took place in the shop. We saw a big list of problems with the whole issue and we were very upset. First of all let me say that if "EVERYONE" had a issue with Pixie performance then "EVERYONE" should have went to Kat as a team and discuss their concerns. Once you did that then Kat should have called Pixie in to her office to have a personal conversation with Pixie about the matter. NOT attack Pixie out on the floor for all to see for the "BIG SHOW". I am disappointed in you Kat. Kim once you had your say behind close doors to Kat about your upsets then you should have left it there. It was for Kat as the manager/ owner of the shop to handle the matter. NOT for you to come out running off with your mouth. YOU WERE OUT OF LINE! When Pixie was offered the job as Office Manager there should have been a job discription typed up of what she was to take care of in the shop. Also there should have been some time of order form for materials needed that each artist could fill out and submit in a binder for Pixie to go to weekly and make all orders at the beginning of each week. There should have been a check off list made for her to follow as well. I have been and office manager for over 10 years and there is no way I would have dealt without some understanding of my duties and organization upfront. Not everyone is management material and honestly Pixie I am sure took that job to help you out Kat. Pixie has a fantastic talent that is being put on hold and she is being held back just so she can clean up after you all. As for the TP in the bathroom issue. Kim if you can't reach over to put a roll of TP on, then you have a serious issue. You can't blame Pixie for her reaction when she was attacked and embarassed not only infront of customers but on national TV. I 100% agree with NOW4REAL954. Kat get your act together, Kim you get a grip. After the first talk with Pixie about her performance there should have been some organization put in place. The way the show is edited it gives the false impression that Pixie NEVER did anything. That is hard to believe! Seem to forget all she did to help you get the place open in the first place. Pixie know that you have people out here who see the wrong that was done. Hold your head up girl and I wish you only the best with your talent in make-up. If I see that you are not coming back in the next few episods it will be the end of me watching LA INK. To think I was going to drive down to have Kim do a tat for me....not going to happen now.

I totally agree with Raki. From where I'm sitting, it would appear that Kat used Pixie to get the shop set up and has tossed her out now that things are up and running. Kat just seems to run all over people like when Hannah objected to the skate ramp being so close to her work station. Kat didn't give a fig! It was all about what she wanted. She got ticked with Cory when he said he couldn't help her with the concert she was planning. Pay attention to her facial expressions when she doesn't get her way, they can be very telling. On last weeks episode, she took Orbi to meet her grandmother: how lame was that attempt to tone down her bad image? Kat can be a total wit** when she wants to be. Could it be that she felt entitled to blindside Pixie because she put together an auction to help pay for Pixie's operation that time? These are not the actions of a friend. Cory, Kim and Hannah need that gig. Cory has three kids and a mortgage, Kim and Hannah have already expressed how hard it is for a woman to succeed in the tatoo business as it is a male dominated industry. Kat seems to thrive when she has control over people. She's the kind of person you have stop in her tracks or she'll roll all over you. Maybe that's why she didn't along with the Miami Ink crew: they didn't put up that!

From where I'm sitting Cory, Kim and Hannah all kiss Kat's you-know-what! Cory has a wife, three kids and a mortgage, Kim and Hannah have already expressed how hard it is to suceeded in the male dominated business of tatoos. Is it possible Kat felt entitled to turn on Pixie because she put together an auction to help pay for her tonsilectomy that time? These are not the actions of a friend.
Kat appears to be the kind of person that thrives on having power over people. She totally ignored Hannah when she expressed concerns about the skate ramp being so close to her work station. She got angry with Cory when he said he couldn't take anymore time from his family to help her with the concert she was planning. Kat is the kind of person who has to be stopped in her tracks or she will steamroller right over you. Maybe that's why she didn't connect with the Miami Ink crew: they just didn't put up with her crap.
For me, she comes off like an out of control teen-ager. Don't get me wrong, I love watching the artwork she creates, but her personality sux! She needs to grow up or one of these days she'll be in that shop alone. How long will it be before the rest of the crew gets fed up just like Pixie?

5inone--the way you talk about Kat is unbelievable! Unbelievably true, that is! I agree with you on basically everything regarding her personality and work ethic. I swear that I'm not trying to focus on the negative, but when there's very little positive, what can you do?

She doesn't seem to understand the concept of running a business. She's immature, selfish, and not to mention fast with the boys...if you know what I'm sayin'...

Kat is the very reason I prefer Miami Ink. She disgraces this industry. But, on the plus side, at least she's not a drunk anymore. Wink

You know what Daisy...that was a low blow (no pun intended) even for you. I have been reading your posts for awhile and you have been quite right most of the time but to bring in somebody's personal life like that really is just dirty pool...you couldn't just leave it at immature and selfish?

You are the best at pushing the buttons but keep it not so personal. Wink

Haha! Thank you--I am the best at pushing buttons. I have to disagree with you on the 'personal' aspect of my post, though.

I don't believe that I said anything TOO personal. I simply read her blogs, read Orbi's blog, found out about this thing with Nikki, and considered her relationship with Oliver, and I concluded that she probably can't be independent for very long. (Not to mention her supposed affairs with several other guys, reported by a friend of hers.) She made her love interests public. Blame her, not me. She is afterall (and I use this term lightly) a 'public figure'.

I guess I'm just not afraid to say anything, but at least I'm kinda subtle about it. It's not like a called her a $lut, which she isn't.

Well, I had a thing against Ami when Kat left; since then she ditched her husband (who was on the Miami Ink show and to whom she had loving cell phone calls), went back, got more famous, was loaded and stupid until straight Orbi; suddenly in love again; poor Orbi took it seriously (as, frankly, I did, because I thought she was a darling) and now she humiliates him - she misses the Tequila and is a you know what. Hello, Ami? MY APOLOGIES. I thought you were a stinker with her; now I know! What an immature, self-centered, fake she is. (By the way, everyone. All that whine about her business? She makes millions!)

making millions doesn't mean she knows what she's doing.her fame and glory are more due to her popularity than to her business sense or tattoo skills.tlc was super smart in using her and hit a jackpot when the show turned out so dysfunctional.her tattoo shop is the train wreck you can't turn away from.if she was an ordinary tattoo artist in a professional ordinary shop we would have to rely on those boring dramatic stories people tell on why they are getting their tattoos.instead we get a wild shop owner who is unpredictable and you never know what might happen concerning her and the shop.as for the others they also are very lucky because they are doing very well off of the publicity and work.luckily they can walk away and only be known as workers but kat is skating on thin ice as far as her reputation and future goes in tattooing.maybe she should watch the show.... learn a thing or too about herself and her business...

Really have to disagree with the statement that Cory, Kim, and Hannah need this gig. Cory has his own shop already, wich is obviously still running. Kim and Hannah are respected artists and could find work anywhere. Yes it may be harder for women to break into the business and make a name for them selves, but do u think they would be on the show if they were not well known already?
