Kat is back and so is the drama with a brand new season launching July 9, 10/9c. As Kat focuses on expanding her product line and writing a book, her world famous shop faces some changes. The addition of a new shop manager - Aubry Fisher from Rock of Love fame - is just one of the challenges Kat faces.

What in the world happend to Kim and Hannah? Did I miss something some where along the line?
As for the new show. There is gonna be some fireworks this new season. Kat better have her game face on all the time or the shop will fall

Kim & Hannah were jettisoned by Kat and the show's producers for not bringing enough drama! So Hannah moved back to Chicago and Kim stayed in LA and opened her own shop.

Lame, but now that I see where the show's going, good for them for getting out before it tanks!

It is great to see it back. Shame about Hannah and Kim. I loved their work. I can see that they want more drama bringing Aubrey in. I have seen one episode with her and she already annoys me. It is Corey's sense of humour that makes the whole thing entertaining. Hmpf... we will see what this season brings, hopefully if nothing else, some awesome tattoos.

Aubrey is soooo annoying... I am going to give the new LA Ink one more chance to impress me because since Kim and Hannah are gone, i am not going to watch just to be annoyed .

I just wanted to say that I am over 60 and even at my age I enjoy watching LA Ink tremendously. Cat is extremely likeable and grounded. I hope she gets rid of this blonde bimbo (no, I'm not biased - I'm blonde) but that gal is definitely retarted. And the new tatoo guy is just as gifted as the other artists at Cat's shop. Great job!

This is the first year I have watched LA Ink, and most likely the last. Kat, Corey and that manager are total stuck up snobs. I found it very ironic, that Kat says in one episode " i thought we were supposed to be a team here" and yet, she goes out of town, gets some guy to come in to do tats, and doesnt even TELL the managers whats going on? Im the manager of a store, and if the owner hired someone and did not tell me, and this person just showed up, I'd be ticked as well. Kat and Corey and that other stuck up ( i truly cant be bothered to remember her name) need to treat people with RESPECT if they want to get it back. I am very not impressed with them and their attitudes.

Frown I am so sad to hear that Paulie was gunned down in New York this week. I have friends that know him and I truly wish that the person who did this pays for what he did. It was so senseless. R.I.P. Paulie

I cherished the moment when Paulie told Kat he's quitting and she couldn't even look him in the eye.
Face it Kat, you're not managerial material. Go back to just doing tats and let someone else run the circus.

Kat happened. It was a mistake from the beginning for TLC to put an immature, arrogant, non-recovered alcoholic in charge of a business with TV coverage. Kat can't make herself behave at this point, and she'll need a lot of self examination and sincere recovery before she even realizes it. The only show Kat is fit for is Celebrity Rehab

Judging by the responses posted here, I probably don't even need to put in my two cents . . . but I will anyway.

To TLC -
People watch 'reality' shows on TLC because they are not on VH1. The people who watch them are not fans of things like The Hills, Rock of Love, or the millions of other crap shows out there. If you're trying to capture that market, cool. Just don't expect your current viewers to follow too. We're looking for shows about something more than juvenile angst and poorly manufactured "drama."

To LA Ink producers and Kat:
What happened? The show was great when it was about the art. None of the 'characters' are bigger than their art, and if they were real artists, they'd realize that.
We don't buy Aubrey, nor the manufactured drama with the other shop.
We miss Hannah and Kim. How cool was it to have women rocking out amazing art in a male dominated industry? It could've been about empowerment, and now it's about bimbos like Aubrey.
People would indeed watch if you talked about tatooing again.
Real artists are about their craft, not about their hair. Blonde or brunette, Kat's forgotten her real roots.

FYI - this is the first post I've ever made on a show forum. I'm an artist who's got a 'real' day job. I used to watch your show to live vicariously. Now I'm embarrassed by it.

Kat needs A REALITY check BIG TIME. Then saying or wanting who she didn't get along with for every1 else not to associate with those same people, HELLO sooo childish and elemtry (not even high school) Aubry should get call her out. Kat's really ONLY good with face tattoo's so she should BE humble to the 3rd power!

Kat is the BIGGEST phony. She try's to act like she is so responsible and that's why she got fired at Miami Ink, becuase she WSN'T responsible at ALL! She better look at the replays of herself forgetting the clients and showing up late ALL the time plus she just does good faces and that's is she not a real artist
